A masterpiece

This right here is world class hip hop music. Stranger Danger showcases one of the finest emcees on the planet right now, backed up by some of the richest production (from the legendary Fresh Kils and others) and tastiest cuts (primarily from Uncle Fester and DJ iRate) you'll ever hear—not to mention a whole slew of guest verses from some of the dopest currently on the mic. Its musicality and exuberance give it universal appeal, but don't get it twisted: this is 100% hip hop. Don't look for any attempts to revitalize the genre with crossover follies.

Stranger Danger is the kind of record that heads will give to skeptics to show them exactly where hip hop can go and what it can do. It's the kind of record that'll give you goosebumps and put a huge grin on your face. It's an irresistible head-nodder with more lyrics and flows than you'll know what to do with. If you buy only one rap album this year, make it Stranger Danger. It's going to stay on cats' playlists like Fear Itself, 21 & Over, or The Cold Vein did, and I say that without any exaggeration.

In a nutshell: Timbuktu is a genius, and the proof is in the pudding. When the album kicks in with "Rock Radio" you'll get that good feeling that only hip hop can bring. By the time it closes out with the monster posse cut "Smell The Glove", you'll be a fan for life.

An Exceptional Album

This album has everything that is hip hop. If you like beats, rhymes, and intricate wordplay this is the album for you. Tim is the only person I've ever heard use the word "metastasis" on a record, and seemlessly weaves the phrase "Steppenwolf cover band" into a line without breaking stride. Buy this album.

Brilliant!

Amazing album! I have now listened to this album more than any Canadian rap album. I logged a lot of hours listening to Maestro Fresh Wes and Hip Club Groove as well. Good job homie!
