Customer Reviews

Over-rated self absorbed

Too many of the reviewers are too big of fans to admit that this album isn't very good. When muse came out their grandeur and mysticism was something fantastic to behold. No one can honestly say that this is the same band that wrote absolution. Thoroughly disappointed. Proof that iTunes Reviews have its downfalls. Most of the people willing to buy an album on iTunes are those who are die hard fans of the band anyway, and are most likely the ones will have a hard time criticizing but a way too easy of a time praising.

Best Album of the Year

It's been a long wait for this and finally its here. It will not dissapoitnent. Once again another fantastic Muse album. A must buy.

I still hope they open shows with Knights of Cydonia

I downloaded The Resistance the moment it was available for download and listened to it as soon as my POS comp downloaded it. The album is comprised of mostly softer tracks that sound beautiful, but not really songs that you can blast through your car stero. Something I like about Muse is that they can make psychedelic, memorable riffs that blow your mind and make you rock out, and this album doesn't excite me as much as previous ones. I was hoping that this album would be more like Black Holes and Revelations, with more upbeat/epic songs. Instead, its more of a Muse pop album. However, this is Muse; they're not the same every album and they're always changing, and thats why I love them as a band. Best song imo is MK Ultra, followed by The Uprising.

They started the first incarnation of their band while only 13 years old, changing the name of the group from Gothic Plague to Fixed Penalty to Rocket Baby Dolls as time...
