Love Jann, not a fan of the production
I wont buy this album despite my unending loyalty. But, then, I suppose that this album is not targeted at me, a die hard Jann Fan.
I fear Jann will lose her audience if she doesn't keep up with the edgy sound and lyrics that we have grown to love her for. This will definitely please the easy listening market but isn't a showcase for Arden's talent. Then again, I suppose the easy listening crowd are the largest number of people who actually buy albums so in that case, it'll pay the rent.
I think that the only time I'll buy another Jann cover album is if she takes on something a little more contemporary and has a more raw sound behind her. Lighten up the production. Lose the pianos and clean electric guitar riffs, up the drums, base and some crunch. Let the voice add layers the way it is meant to.
I'd love to hear an acoustic album, Jann, her guitar, and a cajon. Maybe a little Keith Scott behind her to add technicality.
Regardless, I do love that voice. I'll be listening for it at the grocery store.

I love Jann Arden and Uncover Me 2! I have been a fan of Jann Arden's since her very first album and Jann continues to outdo herself with every album. Some of my favorite tracks on Uncover Me 2 are: "Only The Lonely", "Dreams", "Mr.McLennen", "Love Hurts" and "Rocket Man".

I have been a die hard fan from day one and have rushed to buy every album on the day it came out.
Today I was grateful to have the chance to preview on iTunes because it saved me from buying this.
I LOVE Jann but since she stopped working with Russell Broom I have noticed a big difference in the music.
If this is what shes touring with I think I might skip it for the first time ever.
I'll just keep listening to Blood Red Cherry and Happy? and forget I heard this.
Sorry Jann, I still think you are amazing but I'm not digging the elevator music.
