A Terrific Soundtrack
I got hooked on Veronica Mars when CTV aired the first season this summer, and I ended up picking up the DVD set and am religiously watching the new season. Although I really like the music played on the show, I wasn't sure what to expect from the soundtrack and yet put my faith in the show and bought it without previewing from iTunes. Over a course of two days, every single song on the CD became my favourite from the album. It's a great mellow combination of music that reflects the show well. At first I was upset that many of the great songs from the first season weren't included, but I like that the album is sort of a preview of the music to come in season two - every time I hear a song in the new episodes I recognize it from the soundtrack and it's great being prefamiliarized with them (although after it's terrific placement in the season two premiere, "Ashes" by Embrace should have been included on this CD). Anyways, every song is top notch and has been perfectly chosen. I'd been a big fan of a lot of the bands features on here (Tegan & Sara, The Format, Stereophonics) and it's great to see their best all collected together. HIGHLY recommended. You won't be disappointed.

not only does this tv show rock but the soundtrack does too. the creators of this show/soundtrack did something a little different and almost all of the songs on this cd are from the new season. if you are able to i would run out and buy the first season on dvd and buy this cd right now.
totally awesome soundtrack
this soundtrack is really amazing! there are some great songs on here..among my favs are i hear the bells and sway..however the entire soundtrack is really good too..i think the show is amazing and that the soundtrack really reflects the awesomeness of the show love it!
