Humble opinion
The last Nightrage I listened to was "Descent into Chaos" which, at the time, I liked but grew bored of. After having listened to this, I am nothing but impressed with the direction they've turned their music towards. The guitar is certainly a step up and even the vocals have gotten better. ON that though, the vocals need, in my humble opinion, need more of a growl to it as now it's too monotonous. That aside, songs like "Collisions of Fate" and "Wounded Angel" are returns to the style of "Descent into Chaos" while those like "Wearing a MArtyr's Crown" are their next gen material. Worthy of listening to.

Impressed!
I thought I was a good guitarist until I got this album!!... But serioulsy, although I don't feel that the songwriting is as strong as on their last release, the guitar work is crazy! Solid album, stellar guitar playing. Recommended listening for shredders.
