Album Review
Travis Cottrell has been a writer, arranger, producer, and praise & worship leader for some 14 years now for Beth Moore's ministry, but he also takes time to write and record his own solo projects, of which the beautifully titled When the Stars Burn Down is the latest. There are no surprises here, just Cottrell doing his calling, mixing contemplative material with rousing and joyful anthems, all in a positive praise & worship mode. Highlights include “I’m Changed” and “We Will Dance,” among others.

What A Blessing!!
Another God-glorifying album from Travis Cottrell. My two favorite songs are "Just As I Am", which has a sweet chorus addition as well as a verse, that really speaks truth in the way one comes to Christ as he is yet with the right heart attitude and brokenness over sin and reliance upon God alone for salvation. And "Power In The Blood". The title of the song speaking for itself.
The overall album is truly a blessed listen. It's been a perfect addition to the other Christ exalting music I play in car, at work and while I sleep at night.
I also highly recommend his "Jesus Saves" album!
The man is blessed and is blessing others with the gift that God has given to Him.
