Useful!
Great app, really useful when taking notes in class. However, there are a few things which I noticed. Firstly, when your recording, the sound of typing is really loud. The solution is to simply type softer, though you still hear it. Another thing which I noticed is that its hard to draw diagrams with the drawing tools, I haven't found a soltion to that. But overall, great app, I've been using it for about a month now and could not be more pleased!
Very Useful in classes
An already awesome app further improved. A must have for students. You can type notes as well as record audio in it while sitting in the class room. This app removes a major deficiency in Apple computers which otherwise are always at the top of the technology world…
Update: After using it for a few months, I realize that its drawing tool does need a labelling feature.
Crap. This should be a free beta.
Don't get suckered in like I just did. Not only does the audio record OVER ITSELF (rendering audio notes useless), the means of linking this audio to the words you type is hardly intuitive....there's no "track list", which there should be, so that you can take different pieces of audio and drag them onto certain bits of text. Also, a drawing tool is great, but what good is it if I can't label the drawings with text? Using the tab key moves text around, but it's not the point & click sort of text tool that you need for this sort of application.
I'm very sorry I paid for this, and I wish I could get my $10 back. Such a good concept, such poor performance.
