Investor’s Edge clients can:

Buy and sell equities, ETFs and options on-the-go, which means never missing an opportunity.
Trade mutual funds and fixed income
Place a mutual fund order or create a regular investment plan on your mobile device. You can also place a buy or sell order for bonds and GICs.
Check out New Issues and IPOs
You can now use our mobile app to view New Issues and IPOs.
Investor’s Edge, Imperial Investor Service and Wood Gundy clients can:
Monitor investments
Know exactly how your accounts are doing with detailed information, including intraday and daily change values, book values and total gains or losses.
Use customizable charts
Identify trends and trading opportunities, and analyze stock performance with interactive and customizable charts. You can also access advanced charts through Quotes and Research.

Whether it’s your trade confirmations, account statements or your tax documents, they’re all available on the go.

Good app. Would be great if there was trending on display.
Improvements noted but still costly
The CIBC Investors Edge app has evolved and improved nicely over recent years to provide clients with the features and security we require to help us better access and understand our investments . One should also note security upgrades seem to have been done. Where the app falls down is not offering clients the ability to have forms easily mailed to them rather than clients having to use their own time to pull up the documents and print them off. The Investors Edge platform remains relatively expensive for clients, with each trade costing $6.95. This effectively means spending a minimum of $14 just to buy and sell shares in a single security. Therefore if one does extensive trading the costs quickly become prohibitive and dissuade one from using IA when there are more welcoming platforms available.
Much improved
This update is very good for the following reasons:
1. New interface that allows easy and quick access to various menus.
2. Very stable so far. No random crash.
3. Finally it is able to remember Account ID and allows copy & paste of password for quick login.
