Best.Movie.Ever.
While Sherpas Cinema's ''All.I.Can.'' didn't have the million dollar budget of Brainfarm Cinema's ''Art of Flight'' it did have something far more important - soul. The cinematography and editing are on par or better than AOF but the thing that separates this movie from your typical balls out ski/snowboard film is the vibe. It'll make non-skiers stoked for winter and ski bums probably won't be able to sit through the whole thing, they'll be out carving pow lines before the credits roll. The intro alone is worth the price of downloading, it's 5 minutes of Baraka, meets Planet Earth, meets Life Cycles, meets badass ski movie. The defining segment though is probably J.P. Auclair taking urban to the next level in Rossland and Trail BC. The concept, execution, and riding are all out of control. Simply put, this is the most unique and entertaining seggie of the year. There is something for everyone in this movie, and while it may have benefitted from being slightly shorter (and toning down the environmental message a little) it was still utterly extraordinary. Great music, stunning visuals, phenomenal riding, and a glimpse into the soul of skiing. What more could you ask for? This might be the best ski movie ever.
