Top Critics' Reviews
Fresh: Has a bright palette, an amiable vibe and enough vivacity to keep kids entertained and any accompanying moms from bolting for Bridesmaids.
Rotten: Alas, this time there are about three or four mild laughs in the whole picture, and the entire visual aspect of the movie is a botched disappointment.
Fresh: Po and friends redeem themselves with a terrific third act, the animation (in three distinct styles) is superb and there's enough hiii-YA-ing to keep the kids yipping throughout.
Fresh: Hardly a scene goes by that isn't visually striking or kinetically thrilling, and all of it enhanced by 3-D.

Absolutely Loved This Film!!
This is actually the first film i've seen on it's opening weekend this year. And let me tell you, it's worth it. I found every character in the film perfectly portrayed and full of surprises. The voice of Gary Oldman as the villain made it hard to realize it was really him acting him. Also Jack Black fit's perfectly with his character. I particularly like the Soothsayer character the best. She seemed like the perfect portrayer of the one someone turns to when you need advice(even if it mean's making fun of the villain). This film is sure to be nominated for an Academy Award at the Oscars in February. Let's just hope they'll take there time in the proposed sequels so the don't spoil the franchise like they did with Shrek.
