Plot Summary

The Snakes & Arrows Live Concert was filmed over 2 nights in October 2007 at the Netherlands' Ahoy Rotterdam arena during the renowned rock trio's lengthy world tour. This concert release offers fans a rare and close-up look at the prodigious musicianship for which the band is renowned. Cameras follow bassist and vocalist Geddy Lee, guitarist Alex Lifeson and drummer Neil Peart, closely, capturing not only their playing, note for note, but also the intimacy they share on stage. The diverse track list includes many new songs from Snakes & Arrows as well as old favourites like "Tom Sawyer" and "Freewill" plus an explosive rendition of "Between the Wheels".

GREAT STUFF

This is one of the best live Rush. They play super well, adn have tons of fun on stage. They play songs that haven't been played in decades, like Digital Man and Entre Nous, but keep fan faves like Tom Sawyer and the Spirit of Radio. The play ton of nw material from Snakes and Arrows, and the drum solo is one of Neil's best. Buy this if you are any kind of Rush fan!

A true Canadian Band comes to life.

5 (five) Stars for the Band. 3 (Three) Stars for Apple. I had earlier Purchased the Documentary "Beyond the Lighted Stage" and then this recording of their live concert, "Snakes and Arrows". The too complement Each other. Good/Fair sound and Video of These Rock legends in standard Def. Enjoyed watching and listening to both. My only complaint is that the S&A live Video of their Concert should have been in HD like the documentary. I would have payed the little extra for the HD to receive a better quality sound to play over the 7.1 sound system and Rock the neighbourhood. Come on Apple, Keep up with the times.

Almost as good as being there (maybe better!)

This film is typical of all that comes from Rush; the camera work and the sound are excellent, as is the playing. It is nice to see them enjoy their work after so many years together. This movie will win them even more fans.
