Plot Summary
Sam Matheson has always been obsessed with vampires and drawn into their dark stories. On his 21st birthday, he not only discovers they exist but is recruited as a Familiar, a Vampire's personal caretaker and assistant. It's only too late that Sam realizes his bloodsucking employer is unstable and humiliating - a controlling monster that literally is the boss from Hell.

Smart, fun, relatable... who DOESN"T have a boss from Hell??
What a gem of a movie! The writing, acting and directing is spot-on, with creepy jolts and laughs in all the right places. Could easily be made into a feature film. Kody Zimmermann is a director to watch out for. Very reminiscent of Joss Wheadon's style of sardonic humor, with a rich cinematic feel. Love it!
The familiar top notch fun
Funny when it needs to be and just the right amount of blood and gore .
Looking forward to a feature version.
