Black Eyed Peas

In many ways the Black Eyed Peas are the signature pop act, post Y2K: they're a sexy multicultural union of disparate styles; their message is uniformly positive; a goody bag of big names has queued up to collaborate with them (including Justin Timberlake and Macy Gray); and, in addition to their solid rap credentials, they have the power to make statues dance. B.E.P. stands for the best party in the street where brains are engaged rather than wasted. Supremely funky.
