Podcast Description

Mikes on Mics is a weekly podcast featuring Mike Vardy of Vardy.me and Mike Schechter of A Better Mess. We look to explore productivity, technology and how it connects to our lives. Episodes will not only cover the tech, tools and workflows that we use to accomplish our goals, but “The Mikes” always want to strive to take things a step further. We believe that the essentials are important, yet we want to go beyond the “how” and examine the “why.” Why does productivity still matter? Why are we driven to dive deep into the subject? And most important of all, what is relevant to you, our listeners. Even though we both tend to be a bit wordy, we want to respect your time and look to ensure that every episode clocks in at less than 30 minutes. Place your bets on how long we will be able to keep that up!

Customer Reviews

Are ya kidding me?

This is excellent podcasting! I love this podcast. <3

Friendly, Conversational….

There are many different types of podcasts. The Mikes are a One-on-One conversation between a couple of pretty interesting folks. Similar to the Ungenius Podcast or the B&B podcast. The Mikes is not a 'themed' around any specific topic (so far) and that helps make it an interesting listen. If you want a easy-to-listen-to option in you podcasts then this should fit your needs.

A productivity podcast for the rest of us

Great insights into how tools and strategies can help you do the stuff that matters most to you. And I love that the two Mikes actually have somewhat different approaches to productivity – which means you don't get the One True Path to Productivity approach that puts so many people off.

The tone's informal and friendly, and the sound quality is great (Skype's come a long way!). It's still early days (full disclosure: they gave me and my cartoon a shout-out in episode 5, which was just posted), but I'm looking forward to every episode.
