My favourite podcast!

I subscribe to about 20 podcasts and this one is my favourite. The debate is healthy and fair even though obviously democratic. As a canadian listener, these issues are still meaningful and interesting to me.

great work

love the podcast ... pro-dem (which is fine) ... I like the comradery between the three hosts and the different perspectives they each give ... even though they may all agree with one side of a yes/no issue, they all break the simple issue down and explain their rational fully ... they asked for new reviews, so I've tried to update mine ... I honestly look forward to it each and every week, running on my treadmill while catching up on what's going down in Washington. Thanks for the great product you guys put out each week.

Entertaining and thoughtful

This is a great podcast for any sort of political junkie. Three political and legal correspondents for Slate discuss contemporary political issues. There is a core of three correspondents but frequently one will be replaced by a guest host. They're articulate and well informed and they do have a left-wing bias but each of them loves playing the devil's advocate so it's more balanced and nuanced than one might expect. If politics isn't your thing, than this is likely not the podcast for you but if you value being informed and politically literate this a great way to invest thirty minutes a week.
