ExplicitDinner for Fiends: The Dinner in the Woods | Dinner is served once again. More like a buffet this time given how much we have on our plates. Over a dozen movies to digest. Email for desert. And somewhere in between we'll learn that Matt Fini has an irrational hatred of pants. On this edition we'll debate the merits of The Cabin in the Woods and Dark Shadows. We'll discuss in depth Wrath of the Titans, Mother's Day, The Asylum's Air Collision, Area 407, and - somehow - the awful and thankfully obscure 1995 Denise Richards/Paul Walker sci-fi comedy Tammy & the T-Rex. Seriously. Tammy & the T-Rex... How do we get on these tangents? We also briefly touch upon The Hunger Games, The Raven, The Raid: Redemption, The Avengers, Lockout, and more. Plus, we learn about Matt Fini's aforementioned hatred of pants, Buz's love for wearing bathrobes in public, Steve's pendulum conundrum, and I explain why you're only allowed to enjoy either The Avengers or The Dark Knight Rises but not both. Finishing things up is a batch of viewer mail that is only slightly more lucid than usual. Now go listen ... then head on over to iTunes and give us a review, damn it! | 5/21/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitDinner for Fiends: Wrath of the Space Baby | If you like Dinner for Fiends episodes that consist mostly of us jabbering about nothing of great importance, then this nearly two-hour installment is going to be music to your ears. Myself, Uncle Creepy, Matt Fini, Buz, and (for about a half-hour) Andrew Kasch have returned for a Dinner for Fiends that might leave you with indigestion of the mind. Everything starts off fine as we discuss in spoiler-y details the season finale of “The Walking Dead”. That’s when I make the grave mistake of bringing up the outrageous online meltdowns people are having over the ending to the video game Mass Effect 3, and suddenly the show turns into a Matt Fini therapy session. You’ll hear in painstaking detail why this game broke Fini’s heart and left him a bitter, broken shell of a man. Then the technical difficulties begin as Space Baby tries desperately to remind me why I continue to be no fan of Skype. But on the plus side, I think this might be the first DFF in ages that is 100% rape-free. From there the Amanda Seyfried serial killer flop Gone gets spoiled, as does the Halle Berry shark dud Dark Tide, even more so the indie chiller ATM. Ghost Rider: Spirit of Vengeance gets burned as well. You’ll also hear our thoughts on the trailers for Dark Shadows and Prometheus. We’ll top it off with some viewer mail for dessert. Dinner is served. Editor's Note What you're about to listen to came within a hair of being a lost episode. For whatever reason we were riddled with technical difficulties, which led to Buz nearly killing himself cutting together the original recording with Foy's back-up recording. Yes, the Foywonder saved the day. It took over a week but Buz managed to Frankenstein it together for you. Yes, you will hear the occasional weirdness and interference. The only thing we can do is blame it on the Space Baby. Sorry for the mess. Won't happen again. | 3/28/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitDinner for Fiends: Bad Moon Rising | Kate Beckinsale in fetish wear drops from ceilings. Super-powered teens go all Columbine. Ghosts terrorize Harry Potter. Liam Neeson beats the crap out of wolves. Movie endings confound. Viewer mail confounds even more so. Plus, film snob douchbaggery, two-headed sharks, men on ledges, and much, much more. Yep. A new edition of DFF is being served. Myself, Uncle Creepy, Matt Fini, Andrew Kasch, and The Buz return for a more than feature length installment of Dinner for Fiends covering all the new post-Devil Inside releases. We’ll discuss the greatness of Chronicle, the idiocy of Underworld: Awakening, the hits & misses of The Woman in Black, the pros and cons of Kill List, and a heated debate regarding the end of The Grey. Beware of spoilers, but you should know that by now. You really, really should. Liam Neeson would like you to know you have 5 seconds to start listening to this new edition of Dinner for Fiends or he’s going to start beating the f**k out of you. You wouldn’t want to make Liam Neeson angry, would you? | 2/17/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitDinner for Fiends: The Passion of the Creepy | The first Dinner for Fiends of 2012 is here, and what a way to begin the new year! A defiant Uncle Creepy braces himself before a firing squad of his peers as he stands alone in his defense of the universally reviled The Devil Inside. It’s just like 12 Angry Men except with five people on a podcast arguing about a found footage flick and nobody’s mind gets changed in the end. After Creepy survives his trial by fire, without warning, Matt Fini, Buz, and Andrew Kasch turn into quivering, squealing schoolgirls at a Justin Bieber movie discussing their volcanic love for David Fincher’s The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo. From there yours truly, The Foywonder, teams with Uncle Creepy to discuss the utterly asinine 3D invisible alien flick The Darkest Hour. We’ll also tell you about some of the Christmas gifts we got each other before finishing off the show with a slew of reader mail, some of which actually manages to be coherent. Let’s get ready to rumble! | 1/13/12 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitDinner for Fiends: Off the Coast of Brazil | Dinner for Fiends is back for what may be its final installment of the year. There’s not a whole lot of horror going on at the movies of late – unless you count how much money the latest Twilight sequel has made – so in addition to Breaking Dawn we’re mostly talking quality horror on TV today. If you’re amongst the listeners who experience spastic rage every single time the topic of Twilight is discussed, you might as well fast forward past the first 15-20 minutes of this show because busting Breaking Dawn’s balls is all we do during that time. But if you want to hear about Brazilian vampire honeymoon island love nests, Bella’s love of rough sex, werewolves falling in love with babies, and vampire fang c-sections, then the opening portion of this program is for you. From there we segue into televised horror. You’ll hear much man love for “Supernatural”, Buz’s disdain for the characters on “The Walking Dead”, and then mixed reactions regarding the current seasons of “Dexter” and “American Horror Story”. If that’s not enough for you, you’ll also hear viewer mail, possibly hear Uncle Creepy peeing, and experience Buz’s raw naked terror at the mysterious sound of something that may or may not have been a vacuum cleaner. Join myself, Uncle Creepy, Andrew Kasch, Matt Fini, and Buz “Danger is my middle name so long as it doesn’t involve things that make mechanical suctioning sounds in which case I quiver with fear” Wallick for another feature-length Dinner for Fiends smorgasbord. | 12/7/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitDinner for Fiends: Sex Type Fiends | Here we go, folks. A real Dinner for Fiends. No scheduling conflicts. No bird attacks. The usual suspects (Creepy, Buz, Foy, Fini, Kasch) have finally all assembled for a new episode. You would think with only two new wide release horror movies this past month, there wouldn’t be that much to talk about; yet, somehow we jam packed it to feature length. We covered so many random topics amid the usual October movie offerings that much of this show has become a blur. What has not become a blur is the hilariously insane turn the first hour of this 90-minute edition took. Where to even begin with how to describe this episode? Who would have ever thought that Creepy opening up the show asking if any of us have seen The Human Centipede 2 would spiral into a raucous half-hour debate over… You know what; just listen for yourself. It could be the most offensive 30 minutes in DFF history. It most certainly ranks amongst the most unlikely conversations in podcast history. You’ll also hear our disappointed take on the prequel/remake/premake/requel of The Thing followed by a very spirited debate over Paranormal Activity 3. Beware of spoilers. Beware of tongue lashings. We round it out with some viewer mail that ranges from gracious to bizarre. If you missed it... check out the now infamous "F**k the Raven, Nevermore" mini-episode! If you’re in need of a Dinner for Fiends fix, then here’s a bountiful buffet of our usual lunacy, humbuggery, and ... well ... dolphin rape. | 11/8/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitDinner for Fiends: F**k the Raven, Nevermore | What you are about to listen to – should you dare to listen to it, is not a Dinner For Fiends podcast. This is a DFF for that turned into a Foycast that turned into obscenity-laden chaos. You will hear what happens when absolutely everything goes wrong. And you will hear what happens when Uncle Creepy is terrorized by a raven at his window. This not “Dinner for Fiends”, not “Foycast”, not “Same S**t, Different Show”, is not for the faint of heart. What was supposed to be a mini-DFF sans a snowed-in Matt Fini quickly turns into an impromptu Foycast when Uncle Creepy no-shows due to miscommunication. Then, after a few short minutes of Batman: Arkham City discussion, Andrew Kasch gets swallowed in the abyss and our esteemed editor makes his presence known from his own Halloween black hole filled with piss and vinegar. Then ... the bird arrives, Creepy forgets we’re even still recording, and it all turns into a weirdly R-rated retelling of Edgar Allen Poe’s classic short story. We post this half-hour audio special of whatever the hell it is strictly for historical purposes. Do you dare listen? F**k the raven, nevermore! | 11/1/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitDinner for Fiends: You're an Idiot! | Open up wide and prepare to choke on a great big serving of Dinner for Fiends. The past few weeks haven’t been very kind to the horror releases at the multiplex, and we’re not much kinder to them either. You’d be an idiot to miss out on this smorgasbord of a show. Uncle Creepy, Buz, Matt Fini, and yours truly spend a considerable amount of time debating the merits of the Fright Night remake, featuring the horrifying truth about Creepy’s cinematic hair fetish and how it affects his reaction to the movies he watches, interrupted briefly by a deranged screaming tirade regarding the Conan the Barbarian remake. Fini vs. Buz over Fright Night. Foy vs. Creepy over Conan. Four men enter. Four men leave. Then the Don’t Be Afraid of the Dark remake gets served up on a silver platter, followed by a heaping helping of Shark Night cheesiness, then a quick spoiler-filled recapping of the non-events that comprised Apollo 18, and finally for desert we sink our teeth into the cowpie that was Creature. Plus all the sidetracking zany discussions you’ve come to expect when we start rambling inanely. As always, beware of major spoilers when discussing all of these offerings, even more so than usual since judging by the box office profits of these films, none of you saw any of them. Listen to the new installment of Dinner for Fiends right now just as soon as you mutter those three magic words: YOU’RE AN IDIOT! | 9/11/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitDinner for Fiends: Destination Super Apes | After too long of a hiatus Dinner for Fiends is back and better than ever. At least we hope so. You see, part of the reason for the long delay was trying to work out the logistics of how to make the actual show itself sound better. Well, thanks to a myriad of well placed phone calls, swiping credit cards, and of course SCIENCE, we've done just that! Also, now that we have the infrastructure that we needed in place, we plan on doing the show a lot more often so yeah, no more seven-month waits for you to get your horror fix! That being said, get ready to join myself, Matt, Andrew, Buz, and Foy as we discuss everything from Super 8 to Final Destination 5 in an hour and a half of sheer madness, lost control, and dealing with Foy living in his shack. Oh, and for those of you who listen all the way through - the answer is 10! (You'll know it when you hear it!) | 8/17/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitDinner for Fiends: Canabulisam - I F**k You Back | The Rapture didn’t happen, but we did finally record a new Dinner for Fiends. An uproarious, epic-sized edition that Uncle Creepy feels may be one of the best ever. We’ll let you decide on that. This edition opens with me ranting about Dylan Dog: Dead of Night and BloodRayne: The Third Reich and ends with me rewriting Dr. Seuss, so that alone should tell you some of what to expect. From there we’ll voice differing opinions on the merits of Scream 4 and Insidious. Somewhere in there we acknowledge the existence of Priest. You’ll hear the sad tale of the agony experienced watching the new Hellraiser sequel and how the latest Children of the Corn sequel isn’t that bad, possibly because it has next to nothing to do with children or corn. Plus there's talk of Troll Hunter, Stake Land, The Skin I Live In, “Dexter”, the season finale of “Supernatural”, and some LA Noire love along with the return of viewer mail – deeply confusing viewer mail. This is all in addition to the usual ball-busting we give each other. Matt Fini accepts ribbing for his Halloween: Curse of Michael Myers review but makes no apologies for his love of the Howling sequels. I struggle to keep my Dracula “thousands” straight, and Buz potentially gets murdered by angry Mexicans. And who doesn’t want to hear tales of Uncle Creepy and Doug Bradley drunkenly exchanging gay sex Hellraiser jokes? This show is so jam-packed from start to finish I can’t even begin to list it all. Just listen before we send John Lithgow to your house to bathe you. | 5/24/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitDinner for Fiends: Battle DFF | Ring the dinner bell because Dinner For Fiends is back for a jam-packed feature length episode filled with everything from thoughtful to heated discussion. An often rowdy installment in which we debate and discuss ten different films, bust each other's chops whenever possible, and partake in one of the longest meditations on the merits of baby rape in podcast history. Actually, the baby rape has to do with a fairly lengthy debate as too whether A Serbian Film goes to far. What? You didn't think we would actually advocate raping babies? Hey, it may be called Dinner for Fiends but we're not that fiendish. Beware spoilers ahoy as Uncle Creepy, Matt Fini, Andrew Kasch, Foywonder, and Buz as we engage in boisterous discussion about the craziness of Anthony Hopkins in The Rite, the craptacular Season of the Witch, the wretchedness of The Roommate and Beastly, the strangeness of Rubber, the awesomeness of I Saw the Devil, the pros and cons of Battle: Los Angeles, and the unheralded unintentional comic masterpiece that is Red Riding Hood. Plus, as special bonus attraction, Uncle Creepy and Matt Fini whip out their knives and duel to the death over whether Drive Angry 3D was fantastic or utter garbage. Two men enter. Two men leave. Kind of a letdown now that I think about it. There's so much more packed into this overstuffed 90-minute episode. Grab your spork, put on you bib, and join us at the dinner table for a Dinner For Fiends smorgasbord. | 3/17/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitFoycast X - The 10 Worst DVD Horror Movies of 2010 | This weekend the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences hands out the Oscars for best movies of 2010 and the Razzies hand out their awards for the worst movies of 2010. But first, I have my own belated movie awards to dish out: the annual tradition of taking one last jab at the worst direct-to-DVD horror movies of 2010. The pain... The pain... Yeah, I realize it's almost March of 2011, a little late to be doing a worst of list for last year. It wouldn't be a Foyeurism if it was actually recorded in a timely manner. That this one got recorded at all was a triumph unto itself. So join Uncle Creepy and yours truly as I laugh and vent for about an hour over the ten direct-to-DVD horror movies that stole precious minutes from my life that someday on my death bed I will so very much wish I had back. Plus we have actual sound bites from some of the skewered films, the fun of getting quoted out of context on DVD releases (I have since been informed that the UK Asylum release I speak of was not the case after all), why bad movies that know they're bad aren't nearly as much fun as bad movies that aren't designed to be so, and a very special appearance by freight trains. It's the better late than never tenth edition of the Foycast. Listen if you dare (or have absolutely nothing better to do with your life). It's a countdown of sorrows this time round. Enjoy! | 2/25/11 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitDinner for Fiends: A Look Back at 2010 | Do you have 90+ minutes and nothing better to do than listen to us ramble on for an hour-and-a-half about the year in horror cinema that was and whatever else springs to mind? If not, oh, is this ever the wrong Dinner For Fiends for you. Uncle Creepy, Buz, Foywonder, and special guest fiend AJ Bowen (The Signal, Hatchet II, House of the Devil) gather round the campfire for a super-sized Dinner for Fiends discussing an endless amount of topics on and off the subject of recapping the disappointing horror year of 2010. More love for Piranha 3D. More hate for the Nightmare on Elm Street remake. Are psychological thrillers truly horror films? Reasons the horror genre gets such a bad rap. The greatness and madness of Werner Herzog and Bad Lieutenant: Port of Call New Orleans. How much better horror programming on television has become of late. "I thought Human Centipede was a SyFy movie about a guy with a hundred legs!" Somehow AJ Bowen and I get into a heated debate over Tron: Legacy that I'm still not sure how it happened or why other than I was in a cranky moood and that movie really sucks. If for no other reason you'll want to tune in to hear tales of an inebriated Tony Todd. A long show with so many topics I can't even remember enough to list here. ExplicitDreadtime Stories: 'Twas the Night Before Krampus | It's that time of year again, when random strangers stand on your front lawn singing, and when people actually hope to hear a weird fat guy climbing down their chimney. But there is a darker side to Christmas, when the night is stalked by a fearsome beast. Ever wonder what happens to children who don't make Santa's "Nice" list? ExplicitDinner for Fiends: Fall Horrors Part 2: Science!!! | Turkey is typically the main course for Thanksgiving dinner. On this Thanksgiving edition of Dinner For Fiends we'll be talking about a couple of turkeys. We're serving up a full course meal of Case 39, My Soul to Take, Paranormal Activity 2, Saw 3D, and Skyline, and for dessert we'll enjoy a little Rare Exports. It's an hour-long Turkey Day edition of Dinner For Fiends filling out bellies on all of the major horror filmdom released the past two months; and because we're gluttonous, we'll still find time to chew on some Zellweger, give a shout-out to the technological marvel that is the AT&T iPhone chip, and enjoy the singing debut of The Foywonder. ExplicitDinner for Fiends: Fall Horrors Part 1: Wipeout! | Dinner for Fiends is back to serve up its latest fast-paced, jam-packed edition. The Last Exorcism. Piranha 3D. Resident Evil: Afterlife. Machete. Devil. ABC's "Wipeout". We'll touch on them all in this installment with the typical amount of excitement and disdain you've come to expect from a heaping helping of Dinner for Fiends. The usual suspects are back for this roundtable treat: Uncle "please ask me about Comic-Con" Creepy, Matt "mellowest voice in horror podcasts" Fini, Andrew "iPhones suck" Kasch, "Mexico's Favorite Son" The Buz, and a distracted Foywonder stuck at work trying to maintain his sanity. ExplicitDinner for Fiends: One Ugly M**********r...of a Show | Prepare for the most suspenseful Dinner For Fiends of all time. In addition to a quite rambunctious discussion over several of this summer's high profile genre offerings, on this high energy installment one of our very own chimes in pulled over on the side of the road by order of police due to imminent threat of a tornado warning. But if one staff member is under threat of tornadic doom then why is it another staff member keeps mysteriously vanishing from the show? On this edition of Dinner For Fiends it would seem that nobody agreed on anything other than we all loved Inception and believe me to be a fool for having paid good money to watch the new Twilight movie. But if I hadn't I wouldn't be able to bring you a very special in-depth report covering the goings-on of The Twilight Saga: Eclipse. And if vampire-werewolf emo love triangles aren't your thing then perhaps red hot mutant sex is. We'll spend a few minutes discussing Splice before moving on to a lengthy, spoiler-filled debate over the merits of Predators. There's more, including viewer mail from Mexico that causes us to pause to contemplate why is it Mexican horror fans have it in for Buz, and again, the looming possibility that a tornado will whisk one of our own away to the land of Oz. ExplicitFoycast IX: Tar Balls to the Wall! | The greatest show about nothing since "Seinfeld" was canceled is back for its ninth installment. Tar balls may be the order of the day on the Gulf Coast where I roam, but this Foycast is more like a tar ball rolling down hill building up momentum more and more as it goes on. My co-host Uncle Creepy started out ultra surly and by the end he was all sunshine and rainbows after a giddy hour tripping down so-bad-its-good movie memory lane. "Let's do the hustle!" After opening up discussing the oil spill currently threatening my hometown (Tar balls, people!) talk moves on to contemplating why this summer movie season just plain sucks. Expect to hear more about the new Karate Kid movie than you ever thought you'd hear on a podcast on a website called Dread Central. I'll also tell you a bit about my obsession with Karate Kid knock-off films. After that is when the tar ball rolling downhill achieves breakneck speed and destroys everything in its path, as I tell Creepy and all of you about the unsung awesomeness of Turbulence 3: Heavy Metal, an incredible motion picture that's like Die Hard on a jumbo jet but if Marilyn Manson was John McClane and the terrorist hijackers were satanists trying to bring about the end of the world. More? You want more? I Come in Peace! Split Second! No Retreat, No Surrender! Just a few of the other great slices of cinematic cheese we reminisce about. And just when you think you're safe - we talk Birdemic! Somebody call the doctor 'cause it's another hour of Foycast goodness. Some of you people actually listen to this crap. Some of you actually beg for more of this crap. Well, here you go. Now let's do the hustle, dammit! When you're done, vote for us on Podcast Alley. | 6/29/10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitDinner for Fiends: A Nightmare on Poop Street | After the very controversial Friday the 3rd Taint episode of Dinner for Fiends reared its head last year, we've all been bracing for one thing ... just how bad the announced remake of A Nightmare on Elm Street would be. Well. It certainly didn't disappoint. SURPRISE! We all hated it. Yet, you won't be finding as much venom in this edition as you did for Friday. It's more like bewildered yet foreseen disgust and sadness. You know the type ... like when you are called to the morgue to identify what is now left of one of your loved ones. Good thing we had a Human Centipede chaser to lighten our moods. Thanks, Platinum Dunes! You've savaged another childhood memory like only you know how to. ExplicitDinner for Fiends: 2nd Helpings | Did you miss us? We have returned after a lengthy hiatus brought on by scheduling conflicts and a technical meltdown that erased the last Dinner For Fiends and what a loaded program we have for you. Finally, the first DFF of 2010, and being that we're nearly three months into the new year that means there is a lot of ground to cover and still find time for the usual off-topic nonsense. Andrew and Buz could not make it for this edition so this edition should prove quite popular in Mexico. Instead you can smell what Ben Rock is cooking; the Alien Raiders filmmaker joins us for this edition. The always salty Uncle Creepy, Matt "Can we get this over with because "Lost" is on in an hour?" Fini, and yours truly, the Foywonder, round out the roundtable of fiends. Expect spoiler-filled discussions of Daybreakers, The Wolf Man, Legion, The Crazies, and especially, Shutter Island. There's also extreme wackiness, such as a shockingly lengthy opening discussion about the greatness of "Ultra Galaxy Monster Battle", nearly forgotten about 1980's genre flicks that deserve a DVD revival, more upcoming Asylum insanity, Uncle Creepy cockblocking me out of another potentially great Legion rant, Dead Snow despair, Sam Worthington's total lack of charisma, ribbing each other over questionable movies likes, and so much more. ExplicitFoycast VIII: The Ten Worst DTV Films of 2009 | You wanted it! You demanded it! You waited for it! You got it! At long last, the Foycast is back, baby! It always seems to take a while, but the wait is worth it. Over an hour of audio for your ears to choke on. You'll hear about stomach viruses, computer viruses, my video collection, and how certain indie horror films are sucking my will to live. That will lead into the annual listing of the worst DVD horror movies of the past year. I'll even leave all of you as speechless Uncle Creepy was when I conclude the podcast with a dramatic reading from a schlocky book from my past. You ain't heard nothing yet! Things get off to a slow start as Uncle Creepy and I do the usual explanation as to what the heck took so long in getting a new Foycast recorded, a discussion during which you'll probably hear more about stomach viruses than you ever wanted to from either of us. Then I just randomly read off the titles of some of the videos in my VHS collection. This part admittedly is not as entertaining as it could have been because I spent most of that segment desperately trying to belch. If I sound a little short of breath during that portion, it's because I was drinking a Pepsi as we began the show and experienced that sensation when you really, really, really want to belch but you just can't. I hate that. You have no idea how close you all came to hearing a Godzilla-sized belch on the air. The soda-induced gas finally passes in time for what many of you have been bugging me about for weeks: the annual top ten of the worst direct-to-DVD horror movies of 2009. It's an eclectic mix of old and new, American and foreign, low budget and no budget; and in a shocking turn of events, not a single Asylum production makes the list this year. Wrapping it all up is something truly special, something never before done on a Dread Central podcast, something that will blow your minds. A dramatic literary reading by yours truly! Bad cinema gives way to schlocky literature as I read a passage from a very special book from my past. I've done some poetry in past podcasts but never anything quite like this. So sit back and enjoy the eighth installment of the Foycast. Opening the show is a musical salute to that most noble warrior of the poultry kingdom in the form of the majestic theme song to the 1983 cockfighting cinema classic Rooster: Spurs of Death. Truly the proudest bird I know. When you're done, vote for us on Podcast Alley! | 2/4/10 | Free | View In iTunes |
