We are a dedicated bunch of Christ-followers (the literal meaning of the word Christian) who are passionate about introducing others to the real Jesus of Nazareth. The way we see it, Jesus didn't come to start a new religion, but rather, to call all people to new relational intimacy with the Creator. If you're seeking answers to some of life's deeper questions, fed up with religion but still believe there is something more out there, looking for a positive church experience, or just plain curious, give us a listen. the church for people who aren't into church.

that's the meeting house slogan and they mean it. i've been attending the meeting house for some time now, so you may see my opinion as biased. i am still a seeker, i think, skeptical of most institutions draping themselves in the cloak of Christianity. but these people have got it right. stunningly free of hypocrisy, and negativity; filled with humour, fun and graciousness in the context of modern living and culture; no matter how philosophically advanced you think you might be, the meeting house will freshen your perspective on Christian living in today's world. and it's something we could all use on a daily basis. So thank God they finally have a...uh...ahem....godcast. OKAY I SAID IT!! now it's out of the way!! get listening!

Redefining Religion

Bruxy and The Meeting House represent a "Church for People Who Aren't into Church". A place where those who have been turned off by the empty rules, regulations, and rituals of religion can can perhaps find some answers.You will find that the The Meeting House is not caught up in the politcal and cultural wars that often characterize portions of modern evangelicalism, but is intent on simply helping seekers in the next step of their spiritual journey (whatever that may be) and making a difference in the world. Bruxy is a brilliage speaker with a clear and intelligent style that is both inviting and challenging. His goal is always to help people see the real person of Jesus behind the edifice that religion sometimes builds. If you're seeking, or just simply interested, take a listen. You won't be sorry.

Great teaching about Jesus

Bruxy is a great communicator whose purpose is to help people better understand Jesus and what he came to do. Jesus was not just another great teacher. Listen in if you are into learning more about Jesus but are worn out with religion and living under the rules. Its about living a life of love, not of rules. Following Christ does not mean having no fun - This is one church podcast that won't have you falling asleep and won't compromise what is written in God's word to us.
