Customer Reviews
An excellent complement to Poetry Magazine.
This is a lively podcast, and the hosts' passion for poetry is clear. The only improvement that I might suggest is to include more "teasers" of poets reading their work, and to spend less time summarizing the issue's contents. Still, a pleasure to listen to, Jesse Ferguson New Brunswick, Canada
So good, it made me buy to the print magazine
Ostensibly, this is a promotional podcast, hyping the forthcoming issue of Poetry Magazine. But that really doesn't do it justice. It's not just a teaser for the magazine, it's a insightful and intriguing discussion of contemporary poetry that stands on its own as a podcast. The co-hosts approach the poems with both a passionate enthusiasm and a critical eye, an all too rare combination. I've enjoyed the podcast so much, I've started buying the print magazine, and the magazine and podcast really complement each other in rich and rewarding ways.
