TV at it's best!
Breaking Bad season 3 is a fantastic season to an all-around perfect TV show. I'm a big fan of this show and I wish I could give a rating of 6 out of 5 stars. Don't miss this.
Best season so far...
This is one of those rare shows that, like The Wire and The Shield, improves with each season. Season Three features new milestones in the ever-dysfunctional Jessie and Walt relationship as they continue to navigate the seedy underbelly of Albaquerque's drug trade. Fantastic show. Also recommended is the episodic podcast available here on iTunes for free where several of the show's writers, editors, producers, and actors discuss each of season two and three's episodes at length. Very interesting stuff.
Best show on TV.
This show is the best show currently on tv. That said, this show is NOT for everyone. The subject matter is disturbing, graphic and adult. If you can get passed the first 4 episodes of the series (season 1) you will have no problems watching the rest of the show.
This season is just as good, if not better than the previous 2 seasons.
'One Minute' alone is perhaps (and I am not exaggerating here) the single best hour of tv in the last 20 years (don't watch it before watching the rest of the season though) with moments which will leave your jaw on the ground and your rear at the edge of the seat.
'Caballo sin nombre' will likely become a cult classic (Google: 'Walt pizza toss' to find out why)
'Fly' is a quirky episode that does a tremendous job of getting into Walt's head concerning his struggles with Jesse.
Half (and Full) Measure are as gripping a season finale as anyone could hope for with some tremendous and moving monologue work from 'Mike'
The acting is top rate across the board, the production value is A list movie quality, and the story is gripping, challenging, and edgy. This is not network television! Forget Lost and Mad Men (i still like both these shows), this is television that is as good as The Wire.
5 stars.
