HOORAY for Itunes Canada
So glad you are providing us with this excellent series... hope you will do the same for all episodes of this season and next......
Timely & Political
I love this show, and felt like I was waiting forever for season Four! I watched this fourth instalment in its entirety in two days. The look of this chapter is pretty gritty, and isn't as slick, or as polished as previous outings, but the subjects of kidnapping, murder, extraordinary rendition, torture, and treason set within Afghanistan, and the dark, shadowy Halls of Power, are pretty stark, and therefore thematically appropriate. The privatization of America's Army is very topical, and perhaps, not well known. Herein lies the depiction of a large private security company, and the crimes committed by its corrupt, and very politically connected CEO: it's Ellen Parsons, and Patty Hewes VS. the Military Industrial Complex!
The cast, as always, is stellar. Season Four is pure character development, and I find it interesting that it could be viewed, even with its bouts of murder, mayhem, betrayal, and C.I.A. sponsored intrigue, as the lead up to the real Battle Royale..... Season FIVE! And, I cannot wait!
