Description
The Ron James Show showcases the talent of best-selling, critically acclaimed comedian Ron James and his poetically charged observations about surviving life in the new millennium. Anchored by Ron's hilarious, razor-sharp stand-up, the show will also feature an eclectic mix of in-studio scenes, field sketches and a weekly installment of "L'il Ronnie", an animated look at Ron's early childhood in coal town Cape Breton. All of these segments allow the series to shine a humourous light on the frustrations and challenges everyday people face 'in their daily march through life's bright fury.' For the last 10 years, Ron's live comedy shows have consistently sold out theatres from coast to coast garnering unanimous praise from audiences and critics alike. He has been called "the funniest man in Canada" by the Victoria Times-Colonist and "devastatingly funny and clever" by the Globe and Mail. According to Ron, "I'm just trying to make sense of the daily chaos we're all walking through on this rapidly spinning planet".
