A Different Kind of Fix is the third album from London indie rockers Bombay Bicycle Club in three years, and sees the band return to electric guitars following 2010’s acoustic offering, Flaws. Jim Abbiss, who produced their debut I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose, returns to the mixing desk here, adding his distinctive production to the band’s sound. On A Different Kind of Fix, the outfit explores funkier rhythms alongside gleaming guitars on the infectious summer singalong “Shuffle.”

Na ja,...
Leider ein wenig schmal, das gute Ding. "Shuffle"war ja ein Brett, "How can you swallow so much sleep" ebenfalls vorab released und sehr nett - der Rest ist aber ziemlich belanglos und schnell zusammengemixt. Irgendwie fehlt auch der musikalische Stempel wie bei "Flaws". Schade, nichts wirklich bewegendes, aber nach wie vor eine sehr gute Band.

But it is not that origin as their debut "I Had the Blues But I Shook Them Loose"
and also not that passionate as "Flaws"
