Godfather of everything

Er war der (manchmal ungekrönte) Godfather des Grunge, er war der Godfather der Hippie-Harmony und mit CSNY ein Godfather des A Capella und hat sich immer neu erfunden. Er war nie angepasst, kam wieder und kam wieder; machte Neues, Altes wieder neu und war immer unverkennbar Neil Young. Mit dem neuen Album sind alle Tugenden präsent und der Meister zeigt es erneut, wer Meister ist und wer nur die Gesellen!

one of those very rare moments

gosh. i can remember when i bought joy divisions transmission and was blown away. i still can remember when i first saw live rust and i was so impressed because i never had seen anything like that before. i can remember when i listened to the first takes of u2s zoostation in the radio and i had to stop my car because i was so overwhelmed. "le noise" and especially "walk with me" too me is very much like "zoostation" and u2s "achtung baby": it's so different but at the same time so familiar, it's so new and at the same time you know that it was always there.

i love it. i now will remember laying in my bed and downloading "le noise" from itunes and first watching "walk with me". gosh. thank you daniel. thank you neil. great record.
