Wer das nicht mag hat keine Ahnung von Musik
Lana del Rey ist kein 08/15-Pop, aber sie hat auch nicht die Ambitionen dorthin zu mutieren. Ihre Stimme zusammen mit den doch eher Retromelodien ergeben einfach die perfekte Mischung. Doch wer jetzt an lang verschollene Hippiemusik und psychedelische Töne denkt hat weit gefehlt. Video Games verbindet Retromusik perfekt mit der Musik der heutigen Zeit und ergibt einen neuen Stil, dem sich niemand entziehen sollte.
Lana del Rey ist DIE Musikentdeckung- und das zu Recht!

The two songs on the single are absolutely beautiful. The retro sound (and of course the videos she chose to accompany them) reminds you of early David Lynch films. While the slow and seductive "Video Games" is great for relaxing or cruising around in your car the second song "Blue Jeans" is more driving. I am looking forward to hear more from her.
