Enter the absorbing world Apple named "iPad Game of the Year"! Osmos is part physics-based eat-'em-up, part ambient, cosmic simulator, and part Darwinistic game of survival. This award-winning PC game has been fully redesigned for the iPad, featuring fluid multitouch controls, lush, flowing visuals, and a chill, ambient electronic soundtrack.
Some describe Osmos as "Asteroids meets a lava-lamp," others as "Katamari meets Lunar Lander," but all have said it's a game you must experience to appreciate. Your goal is to grow by absorbing smaller motes, but to propel yourself you must eject matter behind you, causing you to shrink. From this fundamental balance, Osmos leads the player through ambient playgrounds, deep solar systems, competitive petri dishes, dense mote-fields, and more.

Eine neue völlig neue Art zu spielen ...
Ziel des Spieles ist im schwerelosen Raum die Nachbarobjekte "aufzufuttern" und damit größer zu werden. Alles was kleiner ist kann man verspeisen, alles was größer ist, futtert Dich auf. In dem Moment, wo man die Größe geändert hat, werden die umgebenden Objekte im Größenvergleich zu sich selbst umgefärbt, so dass man direkt sieht, was man verspeisen kann - und umgekehrt. In manchen Leveln werden diese Regeln umgedreht. Das macht das Ganze noch spannender.
Ebenso ein schöner Weg, physikalische Gesetze näher zu bringen. Newton hätte seine Freude daran gehabt.
Das Spiel fesselt. Die Grafik ist hervorragend und durch ein anderes Spiel bisher selten erreicht. Auf neue Levels bin ich schon jetzt sehr gespannt.
Das Spiel ist jeden Cent wert.
zeitfresser per excellence ...
sind es zellen, quallen oder möglicherweise sonnensystem, vielleicht auch universen??? diese fragen treten schnell in den hintergrund, denn osmos macht süchtig. die musikalische untermalung lässt einen die zeit schnell vergessen, und die optik ist ein kleines künstlerisches meisterwerk. in diesem sinne: become huge!!! ;)
Es war einmal...
Krieg in der Ursuppe. Fressen oder gefressen werden. So hat alles anfangen. Und Millionen Jahre später haben sich aus diesen Zellen Programmierer entwickelt, die so ein Spiel schreiben.
Da hat sich's doch gelohnt :-)
