Parks & Wilson

As two-thirds of Tilt, the Parks & Wilson duo produced some of the most popular progressive house tracks of the late '90s. Their sudden fame provided them with the opportunity to become superstar DJs, and soon they were spinning records at the U.K.'s biggest clubs of the time. Just as the other third of Tilt, John Graham, established himself as Quivver, Mick Parks and Mick Wilson established themselves as Parks & Wilson. The double-disc Painting on Silence signaled the duo's entry into the realm of DJ mix albums. They continued producing tracks as Tilt and the two also pursued side projects, Parks being part of the Killahurtz production team.

The two DJs first began working together in 1989 in Coventry, England, where they spun at a club called The Eclipse alongside Sasha. Their big break came in 1996 when Parks & Wilson collaborated with John Graham on "I Dream." Paul Oakenfold released the track on his Perfecto label and it became a huge hit, reaching the Top 40. Soon they were signed to Hooj Choons, where they had more success, one of their more successful tracks being "Invisible." By the early 2000s, Graham had parted ways with Parks & Wilson and began to establish a solo career as Quivver. Nonetheless, Parks & Wilson continued producing tracks as Tilt and found increased international popularity as DJs.
