Biografie
Beginning in 1998, German rap duo Spezializtz released a series of albums titled G.B.Z. Oholika, enjoying their greatest success in 2000 with the hit single "T.W.I.N.L.K. (Tut, Was Ihr Nicht Lassen Könnt)." Comprised of Berliners Harris (born Oliver Harris) and Dean Dawson, Spezializtz debuted with the album G.B.Z. Oholika (1998) on Columbia/Sony. The album spawned three singles ("Babsiflowa," "Afrokalypse," "Kennst' Ja"), which established the duo as an up-and-coming German rap act. Following a tour of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland, Spezializtz released their second album, G.B.Z. Oholika II (2000), which featured the hit "T.W.I.N.L.K. (Tut, Was Ihr Nicht Lassen Könnt)," the first of the duo's singles to chart. With the help of a second single ("Wollt Ihr...?!"), G.B.Z. Oholika II itself charted as well, peaking at number 30 on the German albums chart. Seven years passed before Spezializtz released their next album, G.B.Z. Oholika III (2007). A number of singles ("GBGBGBZ," "Big Babbaz," "Kettenreaktion") accompanied the album's release, as did a tour (also featuring Illo and Snaga & Pillath).
