Absolutely worth it!
Gorillaz has come a long way since their selftitled debut album, but they continue to improve on a great foundation.
The orchestral tracks on the deluxe version really fit the look and feel Jamie Hewlett has set for the Plastic Beach island, and the huge amount of collaborators on the album all complement each other very well.
During the first listenthrough, some of the songs seemed somewhat strange, but they will really grow on you. These songs WILL get stuck in your head, so beware. =P
It's hard to name a favorite song from this album, seeing as they're all of very high quality, but as of right now i can't stop listening to Rhinestone Eyes, Superfast Jellyfish, Plastic Beach and Some Kind of Nature.
If you've heard and liked any of the other albums by Gorillaz, you should definitely give this album a try. It's more of the stuff you love including a lot of new and exciting stuff!

Dette er et kanon album, et MUST HAVE for alle der elsker Gorillaz, musikken bliver ved med at sidde i hoved, alle pengene værd
Gorillaz har fanget mig!!! :-)
Utrolig godt album fra Gorillaz :-)
Som overskriften siger, er jeg som lytter blevet fanget af gorillaz. Har ikke lyttet særlig meget til dem, før nu og det er jeg lidt ked af. Den her plade er bare helt igennem "gennemarbejdet". Gorillaz formår at mixe en del genre sammen, uden det bliver alt for indviklet. Der er så at sige "En rød tråd" gennem hele albummet, som gør det hænger utrolig godt sammen.
Jeg har nu lyttet til deres "Plastic beach album" i godt og vel et døgn, på mine "Beats by dr.dre" og kan ikke sige andet end at det lyder utrolig godt, og at sangene rummer nogle gode budskaber.
Kan ikke sige en sang, som jeg synes bedre om end andre, alle er gode på hver deres måde.
