First Floor Power was formed in 1997 in Malmö, Sweden, and in the following years, the band played a number of festivals, among them the indie festival Emmaboda (always a good breeding ground for new bands). While appearing on a few compilations, their debut EP, We Are the People, was released in 2000 on Silence and was produced by Jonas Jonasson from Bob Hund.
