ExplicitBurn | I guess you all heard about the idiot Terry Jones who wanted to burn the Koran to celebrate 9/11. This song is remotely connected to this event. It's ironic of course. ExplicitPlastic Patch | In the middle of the Pacific, there is garbage dumb the size of Texas! I head about this last year in Newsweek, but the story didn't really sink into my mind. You have your moments of receptiveness. Sometimes a charismatic person in front of you, can be of help to clear the path. Sometimes it just comes. I didn't really think too much about it until now. I don't know why, but the story of the Great Pacific Plastic Patch (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Pacific_Garbage_Patch) suddenly popped into my head again today. I remembered pictures of dead fish and albatrosses with their bellies cut open (http://www.treehugger.com/files/2009/10/chris-jordan-takes-shots-at-the-trash-patch.php), just to expose metal, plastic, batteries and all sorts of crap. Chris Jordan took the pictures of the birds. What struck me as so incredibly sad about this - apart from us idiost polluting the sea, that we can probably never restore - is that these animals are left to rot on the ground or in the sea, while the objects inside them 'live' forever. I imagine that a big part of man's creations are not going down with us at the end. They will stay. To memory our proud tribe of fools we leave behind condoms and toys from Kinder Eggs. If you wanna be a true immortal and be remembered: Don't apply for American Idol - get the globe clean instead. Begin by joining the cause and think beyond plastic (http://www.greatgarbagepatch.org/). Plastic Patch Plastic Patch (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/09/Plastic-Patch.mp3) My stomach is in pain It proves the food chain is never stronger than it's weakest link Whatever I consume The doctor will remove with instruments in his operating room Lay, reset Then forget to Let the swallowed world swallow you I can't deplore I always lust for more than I'm in need for, but cannot ignore I'm not good company I leave the floor to be swept by the neverending sea Lay, reset Then forget to Let the swallowed world swallow you | 1 9 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitTwo Guys Named Humphrey | This weeks song is perhaps the dumbest song yet from me. But I think it deserves a listen anyway. As it's not really related to any special event, it could be about anything. Your guess is as good as mine. What do you think this song is about? Does it have a deeper meening? Two Guys Named Humphrey Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/08/Two-Guys-Named-Humphrey.mp3) There was once a time When everybody was happy Until the day they came Two guys named Humphrey brought a end to the best time of my life Every morning they'd stand out by their garbage bins – yelling hello And at night they played country music on the radio Two guys named Humphrey Are living next to me There was once a time When it was quiet and calm in our neighbourhood Until the Humphreys came and had annoying happenings organized They had cars that were louder than mine but they biked to work – idiots They came by with cookies and milk in golf caps Two guys named Humphrey Are living next to me When I bake a pie, they are baking two And when I say hi, they say how do you do It's a living hell, I can't stand the Humphreys Two guys named Humphrey Are living next to me | 15 8 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

(http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-1297592/Im-just-married--97.html) I think that speaks for itself, and is worth a wedding song. It's an educational song about the word Yes. Here you go. ExplicitIs Sex a Thing? | Is Sex a Thing? Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2010/07/is-sex-a-thing.mp3) Is sex a thing, Is it a concept? Or is it me, who thinks it's nonesense To discuss what sex is? Is sex a sin, is it a monster, That lives inside our body closet? And what are we, without sex? Is it all worthwhile? Is it wasting sex's time? Is it all worthwhile, to define what sex really is? Is sex for real or is it dirty? Is sex for free when over thirty? And what is love? Does it fit in that sexy thing? Is it all meaningless? Do we want the joy of sex? Is it just futile, to describe what sex really is? | 13 7 10 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitDowner – The Catholic Church, condoms and abortion | I know this is a touchy subject, but I had to do this. I respect all religious people. There I said it. But the guys who conducts the business from the church pedestals are often making a fool of themselves. The Catholic Church has really made a mess of itself the past weeks. Not only did the Archbishop Don Jose Cardoso Sobrinho of Recife excommunicate a doctor (http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/americas/03/11/brazil.rape.abortion/index.html) who performed an abortion on a 9 year old girl from Brazil, who was pregnant with twins after being raped by her stepfather. The Pope also went to Cameroon and spoke against the use of condoms (http://edition.cnn.com/2009/WORLD/africa/03/17/cameroon.pope/index.html). Come on! What is this church doing? Why does it deliberately advocate against helping the suffering? Yes, we DO want to end the terror of AIDS in the world. Africa is the place to start. Why not help the masses to avoid it by slipping a piece of rubber over their Johnsons? And what is this thing with putting God's laws over the physical and mental health of and innocent girl, who has been the victim of horrific crimes? Where in God's name is the point in that? I get so ANGRY! ... and I lie sleepless beacuse of this idiotic and cruel behaviour of a very powerful organization. So many people in the world listen carefully to these men of righteousness. Their power is terrifying. Especially when stupidity is flowing from their mouths. This song is called Downer. Downer Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/downer.mp3) Get a dose of the downer Let the Lord know we're breeding again Even though you're a minor Come on! We have to win this 7 billion race Get behind the reaper Get in line and start beating the drum I know folks that are meaner Come on! We have to move before the damage is done Here come the downer, downer, down. (we are in line, but we'll stay at the end) Here come the downer, downer, down. All around we are misfits Got a feeling we're going to hell To conduct our business Come on! We move or lie in symmetric shapes Here come the downer, downer, down. (we are in line, but we'll stay at the end) Here come the downer, downer, down. | 19 3 09 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitMichael Jackson’s Comeback ‘Tour’ | Around 6pm GM-time: Michael Jackson announces, that he's gonna play a series of concerts at the O2 Arena in Lodon in July 2009. 8pm GM-Time: One Weekly Gun has written a suitable song. Hail the King Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/03/hail-the-king.mp3) There's a man in my telly, and he says he's coming back Cause he happened to empty out the mattress crack Hail the king On the way to the stand you were 90 minutes late First you had to calculate your depreciation rate Hail the king That's what happens when you've spent All the money from more than 750 million records Hail the king You could have built a thousand highways in development countries But you happened to want a bunch of ferris wheels Hail the king We won't give it back, we have taken what is ours All the money we spent, you'll just blow it again We've got our lives, we're not sharing them with you It may seem unfair, but that's what we'll do Hail the king | 5 3 09 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitAbout Rush Limbaugh – republican radio host | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/rush_limbaugh_0213.jpg) Hello Friends Today it's all about Rush Limbaugh. The infamous and influential republican radio host from Missouri. Credits go to Alex (http://eggheadcheesybird.co.uk/), for suggesting the topic last week. Limbaugh is amongst other things famous for making fun of Michael J. Fox who has Parkinson's Disease and his somewhat dumb remarks on things like feminism: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rush_Limbaugh#cite_note-70)"Feminism was established so as to allow unattractive women easier access to the mainstream of society." (http://www.time.com/time/magazine/article/0,9171,976829,00.html) The Rush Limbaugh Show is where he on the weekdays expresses his conservative values on the air and serves as a commentator of political events. It's actually quite entertaining and sometimes controversial. Especially when he recently said, that he wish President Obama will fail (http://www.rushlimbaugh.com/home/daily/site_011609/content/01125113.guest.html). Although he really was saying that he hopes Obamas politics will fail and not the man himself (he stressed this by pointing out that Obama is a human being), the qoute speaks for itself. Bill Maher commented: 'I don't hold it against Rush, people say all kinds of crazy s**t, when they're high.' (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6R4N3Yz_3MA) Rush Limbaugh was in 2003 investigated illegally obtaining prescription drugs. He had admitted his addiction to drugs - a topic he has ranted about often on his show. Needles to say, he has stated that he is against drug abuse and believes in duggers should go to jail. Since then several episodes in the saga of Limbaughs drug abuse has been aired. I guess Maher's right. Just ignore the guy. But keep him out the office, will ya? The song is unusual, in that musical mastermind Erik Nørgaard participates on all sorts of weird instruments. Trumpet, trombone, accordion and a very special one in the beginning of the second verse. Guess what it is, and you are rewarded with a T-shirt from the upcoming One Weekly Gun line! People on Drugs can say the Craziest Things Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/people-on-drugs-can-say-the-craziest-things.mp3) So you want an empty throne So you can pick up the pieces alone And it seems, that you know You are speaking in a feverish tone But we're gonna tell your momma We're gonna tell your friends That people on drugs can say the craziest things So yell and scream You're just wasting your time We won't spend our days with a painkilled mind You don't care, what you do You just want some more quat to chew Smoke some pot, swallow pills Get a high on viagra of you will But we will tell your daddy And your children too That they should not take any notice of you Stop calling you a jackass Stop calling you a jerk You're only just an overweight teenager People on drugs can say the craziest things People on drugs can say the craziest things Women's rights and the environment Will have to work around this fruitcake We're gonna tell your momma We're gonna tell your friends That people on drugs can say the craziest things So yell and scream You're just wasting your time We won't spend our days with a painkilled mind | 22 2 09 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitZuola / Zola – Chinese blog for change | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/472px-Zolazhou.jpg) This morning I read a fantastic article in my local newspaper. It was a portrait of the chinese blogger Zuola - or Zola as he sometimes prefers to call himself. Real life name Zhou Shuguang (周曙光). There's an introducion at Wiki about him (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zhou_Shuguang). Zhou is considered to be a local voice of growing importance. Famous in China and internationally for travelling around the country, documenting and presenting cases of injustice. In China it's not every day, a 28 year-old systematically speaks his mind about touchy political and social problems on the internet. Although the blogosphere in China is growing rapidly, it's not an easy and comfortable job. Zola has been harassed by the authorities several times. During the olympics he was withheld in his province, so he wouldn't cause any trouble. Zola blogs from his 'office' in an old factory, which he equipped with grafitti and a pool table. Several times he has announced, that he will quit blogging, but he's still continuing. I guess he is encouraged by the growing number of media, reporting of this young hero. I deeply admire Zola for his courage and his ability to reach out over the borders of his in many ways closed country. He tries to make money from the blog for his activities. I'm going for the Zuola T-shirt (http://www.mytshirt.cn/design/110). This song is dedicated to and about Zola. In China the secret service has people hired to search the blogs for 'dangerous' material, and subsequently commenting the posts in a more party friendly direction. The song is from this point of view. You can find him at http://www.zuola.com (http://www.zuola.com) Or at Twitter (http://www.twitter.com/zuola). Update: The story I read in SydSvenskan (Swedish) (http://sydsvenskan.se/varlden/article409926.ece) This Mean Tweeter Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/this-mean-tweeter.mp3) This mean tweeta Can't get to see ya Doin' what you can to be rad Come on mean cheeta Out where we can see ya We just want you autograph Mean little tweeta Coming down to beat ya Can't have no pioneer Mean little menace Advocate the pen is Weaker than the blogosphere Mean little killer Net seat filler Never know the soul you sold Come on sweet maker Opinion faker Never leave the body cold This little zero Constitute no hero We have all the money you want Soil back kicka Everybody digg ya Leaving all the meaning behind This mean tweeta Can't get to see ya Doin' what you can to be rad Come on mean cheeta Out where we can see ya We just want you autograph | 1 2 09 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitGaza – The Song That Kills | I visited Gaza once. It must have been in 1999. I travelled around the Israel and the Palestinian territories. Back then it was quite peaceful. I was only there for a day, but I got a good impression of the city centre, where I spend the afternoon. I ran into a guy on the street, who suddenly started talking to me. I guess I was the only westener around. He was engaged in the work for human rights, and really wanted to practise his english. We talked for hours and drank tea together. He showed me around Gaza. It was in august, and the heat was killing me. So we went to the cool shade of a laundry shop, that belonged to a cousin of my host. We drank a cool coke and ate something. I can't remember what it was. At that time, the city was quite beautiful with green parks in the centre. Now it's a sad mess. I have made a lot of friends all over the world, where I have travelled. I guess it's easy to get in contact with others, when you are all alone. You need the social dimension in your life. You don't need war. I think of my wonderful day in Gaza everytime I see the pictures from the conflict these days. And sometimes I feel sick and just want to go to bed. I wrote this song lying down. The Song that Kills Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2009/01/the-song-that-kills.mp3) I must lie down Whenever I Turn on the news today And I sometimes Wish that someone would come And take me to outer space It's in the first lines from the verse And the chorus makes it worse It's inside every word of the song that kills And as I lie I forget I belong to the world today It's in the first lines from the verse And the chorus makes it worse It's inside every word of the song that kills | 18 1 09 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitTHE BIG CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEAR SPECIAL! | (http://mac6464.com/christmasstar.gif) Hello and YO HO HO all you dear and happy people! Yes, this is the great and exciting One Weekly Gun Christmas and New Year Special 2008. We have come a long way this year. A lot has happened. For my part 2008 has been crammed with stuff to do - my wedding, travels, a new job etc. And in between I have tried to cover the some of the important events in the world in song, as I see them. One Weekly Gun has taken off. This is the 39th and final song of 2008. To celebrate 2008 I here present a very special episode. The very first song of OWG has been transformed from a lo-fi/first-take piece to a complete outta this world treat for all of you. It's been recorded by the Danish National Chamber Orchestra (http://www.dr.dk/Orkestre/DR+RadioUnderholdningsOrkestret/RUO+in+English/index.htm) in a FANTASTIC arrangement by my friend Jakob Faurholt and mixed by two other magnificent guys: Frederik Thaae (http://www.myspace.com/akidhereafter) and Kristian Thomsen (http://myspace.com/kristianthomsen). Afterwards we added a beautiful X-mas choir and my pathetic voice. The result is of course stunning and absurd in the same time. 'But this must have taken may more time than three hours?' you might ask. The answer is yes. But I thought it would be fun to step out of the OWG procedure for this one time. I guess this episode took the same amout of time to do, as all the 38 other episodes accumulated. Why? Because anything is possible. One Weekly Gun is about just that. In our time the world is FLOODED with talent. Way too much for anyone to comprehend in a lifetime. Much of it never gets an audience. Now, I don't consider myself a big talent, but I treasure my abilities enough to show them to the world. The world belongs to you and me, and you should not hesitate to get out there and do what you have to do. One Weekly Gun wishes everybody a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year. Remember, that you can download all the songs for free here (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/songs/). Or at ReverbNation (http://www.reverbnation.com/oneweeklygun). Or import all of it into Itunes by clicking here (itpc://feeds.feedburner.com/OneWeeklyGunSongs). See you in 2009! One Xmas Song Every Week Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/one-xmas-song-every-week.mp3) Maybe I'm not really the kind of man you want Crouching in my chair, and sleeping everywhere One thing makes up for all the work I haven't done It's the songs I sing, that noone listens to. One song every week Now that's what you're getting It's really a treat for all my fans out there. So I'm really busy writing songs every week And that is what you'll get One song every week No time for rehearsal It's one take a week With limited production And everything is free This really is suicide For I'm so damn busy writing songs every week. And that is quite absurd One song every week No less could have done it You're climbing your peak No benefit from it Cause you're to damn busy writing songs every week And that's a weird idea One song every week You know what I've been through The world's biggest geek Despite this will continue. This years's winning streak Without hesitation. So I'll just continue writing songs week after week And that is what you'll get. ExplicitWeek 38 – 7 things I hate | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/backofbus-072508.jpg) This is old news for once. But apparently orthodox jews are still demanding, that bus companies introduce kosher buslines, where men and women are segregated. In lack of understanding, orthodox communities are now on the mission to finance the bus lines themselves (http://www.vosizneias.com/23690/2008/12/03/jerusalem-haredim-outraged-at-egged-plan-alternative-kosher-bus-line-to-western-wall/). Come on! Instead of jumping up and down on the obvious point here, I will instead digress to a more abtract level of this discussion. I see these everyday moments of annoyance as symbols of a much more terrifying reality. Some of us are brought up in hatred and learn to hate and fight equal rights from childhood. If you're told one thing your whole life, you belive it. I not talking about orthodox jews here, but all who are part of an isolated and somewhat extreme community. If no interaction with other beliefs are happening, some of us are stuck in middel age reality. This week's song is about hating every day. Seven Things I hate Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/seven-things.mp3) There must be at least seven things I hate Forget the wiser choice Compile the rage There must be at least one thing a day It keeps me going in a credible way There must be at least 7 things I hate I must hate at least once a day I just read the news today And there were 50 things, I'd love to hate When read from backwards it would say That nothing comes from nothing in any way There must be at least 7 things I hate I must hate at least once a day There must be at least 7 things I hate I must hate at least once a day Freedom is for some the most controversial thing And it burns the heart whenever it is clinched Flames applies for some as their Martin Luther King And you gotta count your 7 things | 10 12 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

Explicitweek 37 – Thoughts after Mumbai | Hi all This is just a quick post. This week's song is inspired by the events in Mumbai. It's just thoughts about the future of us living with the threat of terrorism. Some things never stop. The song is also inspired by 'Road to Nowhere' by The Talking Heads. Maybe I'll record this one for real one day. I think it deserves it. Tomorrow When it Comes Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/12/tomorrow-when-it-comes1.mp3) We are one Running from where we are Getting right back to the freeway Up in high altitude We're driving the longest road To the end of town Just the two of us And noone else around Got nowhere to go Driving from the sound That everyone will hear Tomorrow when it comes We are one Taking the road out of here Get inside We'll go to that city in our minds We're driving the longest road To the end of town Just the two of us And noone else around Got nowhere to go Driving from the sound That everyone will hear Tomorrow when it comes | 3 12 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 36 – The remains of Nicolaus Copernicus | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/051103_copernicus_vsml.widec.jpg) Hi world This week saw the solving of one of the great mysteries of historic astronomy, as the remains of the Polish scientist Nicolaus Copernicus has been confirmed. Parts of him was actually found three years ago, but until now it has only been a qualified guess, that it was Copernicus. DNA-tests solved the mystery. (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/copernicus.gif) Copernicus - or Kopernikus, as he is known in German writings - is the father of our astnomic perception today. Most notably he discovered, that the earth circles around the sun, as opposed to what was believed in his day. Back then the common perception was, that the earth is the center of all things - including the universe. This week's song is a delayed obituary and is dedicated to Copernicus and his legacy. We love Copernicus Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/copernicus.mp3) Born in 1473 Lived nearly half-way through the 1600th century He spoke for heliocentric cosmology Which forms the base of modern astronomy Although not the first To descibe the Earth As not being the center of the Universe Concerns about his time's mentality Delayed publication of his master piece On the day of death in 1543 Recieved the copy of the epiphany De Revolutionibus By Copernicus Consists of seven assumptions divided into six books. ExplicitWeek 35 – Drugs – especially Magic Mushrooms | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/r159235_580502.jpg) Hi! Are you on drugs? What is 'drugs'? Would you go to Amsterdam, if you couldn't get Magic Mushrooms? They're closing down the big business of Magic Mushrooms in Holland. Apparently tourists are not eqipped to control themselves once they get on the trip. They jump from balconies and drives cars through camping lots. Therefore the government intend to shut all sales of Magic Mushrooms down in the near future. Protesters say, that incidents involving Dutch are close to zero. It's only the foreigners who can't behave, while they're eating mushrooms. This song is about drugs. Some people like hem, and some don't. This friday night, a huge drug fueled (Dutch produced) event called Sensation went off in the national Danish stadium in Copenhagen. 27000 people danced the night away wearing only white clothes with cleverly hidden pockets for all their s**t. Do you think drugs are old-school? Magic Mushroom Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/magic-mushroom.mp3) I'll be living easy with wide open eyes I'll be colouring the pictures in my mind Finally i'm feeling everything's allowed Consequence is drifting from me on a cloud Let the mind go astray And the body will pay It's like driving for days On the freeway Do the dont's, eat the moon Break apart the cocoon Life can never end to soon Oh, Magic Mushroom Get a grip on what was there before the turn The wheel is in your hands, the tires burn And beyond another glowing ball will rise In the glove compartment you'll find paradise Let the mind go astray And the body will pay It's like driving for days On the freeway Do the dont's, eat the moon Break apart the cocoon Life can never end to soon Oh, Magic Mushroom | 17 11 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 34 – Yes, President Barack Obama can! | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/Barack%20Obama%20Capitol.jpg) Good Evening! So I guess you all just went crazy along with everybody else this tuesday? Huh? Did you watch the news when Barack Obama got closer and closer to the seat? Over here we didn't. We sleep at that time - or at least we used to. This election wrote TV history. Everybody I met the next day was red eyed and/or hung-over from the party. I really felt miserable AND boring. But I did get up at 5 in time to watch both candidates speak. I was woken up by my wife saying something like: 'Get up dear, the winner is about to speak in a moment.' After Obama, McCain got a re-run. And thursday everything went back to normal. Friday my wife got back in the picture. Why not just re-arrange the Mitt Romney song from Week 6 (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/2008/02/week-6-mitt-romney/) for an Obama special? I must admit I liked the idea. First of all because I think the Mitt Romney song was a true moment of brilliance from yours truly. Modesty? WHAT? Second because the melody has some positive qualities that suits a winner as well as a looser. And third, because the Mitt Romeny song suggests Barack Obama would be the winner. And I wrote that in February! How about that? CNN, when are you gonna call? I guess this is the end of One Weekly Gun's election coverage. Now it's time for the news! Don't forget you can now import all the songs from One Weekly Gun directly into ITunes! Just click the logo above to the right. And if you want to get it all inside a RSS-Reader the orange object to the left is what you're looking for. Introducing: Captain Woman on the Piano and vocals. Barack Obama Download Dearest friends, I have come here with an answer To the question you posed, when you founded this land We will march from the boiles and the cancer Led by he, who is half afro-american There's a comfort in the winner We will substitute the lame Though a handsome beginner, Not a part of the game. With the strength in the weekness, this is not a perfect man Yet the feeling we get, we understand. On the screen is a picture of Obama With his hands in the air and a smile on his face. By the wall is Alaska's docudrama Salty tears on the suit melts the colours away. We will grasp our common future And we'll shake each others hands. We will fight for the outcome And we'll try to understand How the world can be changed just by our hopes and dreams. It's no more as absurd as it seemed. We salute to the coming generations who will learn from our times and the struggles we see We'll let burn the stained and torn pages Of the book from yesterday Write tomorrow's victory | 9 11 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 33 – Presidential Election Doubt | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/obama-surf.jpg) Tuesday is the day! Everybody's talking about the so-called 'Bradley-effect'. In 1982 the afro-american Tom Bradley lost the election for governor of California despite being way ahead in the polls. The reason being that many decided to vote against him for racial issues once they stood in the booth. Right now the question - a bit constructed if you ask me - is whether or not someting like this could happen to our Messiah Barack Obama? This song is about this question and in a broader sense the doubt within the american people. Could the nasty factor lead to a surprise? I doubt it, but I admit, that often in a time of decision many stupid thoughts go through my head. Most of the time they do not have an impact, but who could know. Obama said he's not gonna be the perfect president. That's fine, but we can't afford to many imperfect voters. Screw the outcome, just don't let race decide. God Bless the Dubious Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/11/god-bless-the-dubious3.mp3) It's in the writing on the wall It's in the thoughts of big and small and every conversation made This race will rise above the truth but things could inside the booth God bless the dubious and me With every turn that the road takes in a day we'll live and learn The world turns just one way It's there right where it always was A song that somehow says it all God bless the dubious and me With every turn that the road takes in a day we'll live and learn The world turns the same way God bless the woman in a suit and then the man that could stay put God bless the bones inside the dog God bless the righteous and the wrong God bless the priest who wears a thong God bless the dubious and me | 2 11 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 32 – Leonard Cohen | (http://upload.wikimedia.org/wikipedia/commons/thumb/5/5a/LeonardCohen1969.jpg/612px-LeonardCohen1969.jpg) Hi People of the internet. Once again the gun shoots. This time in a more non-bulletin'ish way than normally. I went to the Leonard Cohen show on friday in Copenhagen. Coehn is one of my all time favourites. I have listened to these songs since the album 'The Future' came out. I remember my mother and her sister gave each other the record for christmas - accidentally. Anyway, it was a fantastic concert. Now there are some serious lyrics for ya. Go home Gun. In the row in from of me sat a man with his two children. I guess the boy and girl must have been about 20. The father was insanely drunk. I mean REALLY embarrasing. Not like a teenager at a punk show who's having a good time. This was something else. The kids were obviuosly used to this. They ignored him for most of the time. But you could see it hurt them. He was constantly talking and making stupid noises. And he kinda groped his daughter also. Really nasty. What touched me so much about this was his childrens reaction. I mean, they tried not to think too much about it, but it was clear that they didn't exacly enjoy it. I can't believe you would wanna hurt your family this way. There is help to get for these problems. Do not alienate your family this way. He asked them if they wanted to come home with him. They refused. The song is about this evening. Not very specific, but you can pretend it makes sense. Anyway, the blog will soon be moving to new surroundings. Keep an eye out. And don't dispair it your rss-reader is empty. I will tell you what to do. As Time goes By Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/as-time-goes-by.mp3) I turned on the black light bulp when I got home I begged you for mercy on the phone Then I fell down My friend is a lover who can't go wrong Forever I must be singing her song Time and again There is a crack in everything That is why the rain keeps pouring in As time goes by As time goes by Drill me a hole for my sorrows to lend Dance me a pole that I can follow to the end Free me in time There is a crack in everything That is where the light gets in As time goes by As time goes by | 20 10 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 31 – That One! | [youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lNzA9LfMlmU] Hi! As McCain gets a bit more behind in the polls, his campaign gets nastier. Some suggest that he can no longer afford the positive attidude. It's time to get real. Palin and McCain both tried to expose, what they call the 'real' Obama. That is, his hidden ugly side that interacts with terrorists etc. In an attempt to change focus from today's america to Obama's past, they have tried to raise doubt about his person. I personally think that this plan is kinda stupid and leaves everyone with the impression of the GOP as a political party without a message. And then, this happened. THAT ONE! Does this miniature semantic mistake from McCain in the middle of the second debate in fact show us the real McCain? One can only guess. I think not - but I know that the strategy has backfired. As many other strategies from the McCain/Palin camp. To the nerds: YES, It's sounds like and is inspired by a well known Beatles song! That One! Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/10/that-one1.mp3) That one turned this thing upside down and that shouldn't be allowed so I'll dig myself a hole in the ground That one is not playing it fair It's soon getting to where I will call someone who cares Tell me something real for once or are you just hanging out? Tell me something real for once or are you just fooling around? ExplicitWeek 29 – Depression | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/bad-economy.jpg) Hi there The staggering economy is the inspiration for this week's song. I have absolutely nothing intelligent to say about the crisis and the forthcoming difficulties for the world. In stead I wrote a song only mildly connected with this topic. It's called 'Go to go down to the River'. I hope you enjoy. One Weekly Gun has now launched an e-mail service. I just came back from a quick visit to Seattle and the Bumbershoot Festival. It was really nice and what FANTASTIC people there!! I had a really good time chatting to people at the festival. Sometimes we europeans think that we are all alone - we certainly have some good pals over there! Cheers! Well, apart from the festival and visiting historic landmarks as the house where Kurt Cobain shot himself one major thing had an impact on me. Well two actually - counting Obamas speech at the democratic convention in Denver that is. The appearance of Sarah Palin. The govenor from Alaska, and now crown princess of McCains potential chair in the oval office. WOW! What a gal! Yihaa! And what a fantastic moron she is. She held a very special speech, when she was revealed as the vice presidential candidate. I made a song about, what it sounded like in my ears. Pro-Fight Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/pro-fight.mp3) It's funnier to be a vice president in a republican government than to have a teenage girl who is pregnant singin' ooh-la-di-lah singin' ooh-la-di-lah We're gonna rid the streets of every fag And send every healthy boy away to Iraq This is how we will relieve this country's burdened back singin' ooh-la-di-lah singin' ooh-la-di-lah Confess to the choir Confess to the status quo Repeat the mantra the resides within The blockbuster devil is a big black sin Confess to the maker Confess every microscope The truth lies in babies that have not yet been born The net beneath Darwin is about to be torn The rural Alaska has got it right Pro-choice is substituted with a Pro-fight In school you will learn about intelligent design And that kingdom comes from a bold decline Confess to the choir Confess to the status quo Repeat the mantra the resides within The blockbuster devil is a big black sin Confess to the maker Confess every microscope The truth lies in babies that have not yet been born The net beneath Darwin is about to be torn | 4 9 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 27 – Usain Bolt at the Olympics | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/usainbolt080819ap_792948c.jpg) HI! Well as most of you possibly noticed, last week's song did not arrive on time. Let's just say, that I had alot of technical difficulties... Anyway here it is. The track was inspired by the übercool Nurse Dee (http://www.myspace.com/olderthansid), who introduced me to the verb 'cutting' - in the sense of someting having an edge. I promised to make the term the prime subject of the following song, and here I deliver. Having in mind the mild controversy following olympic champion Usain Bolt and his choice of NOT congratulating his fellow runners after the final in which he set his second world record at these games. Who cares about how he behaves? He runs faster than you! [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TMMwPk_U5vY] [youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TuclX_gbPSo] Interesting fact: Mrs. Gun aka Captain Woman is on the vocals of the first verse. Apparently my bid was a bit on the false side - too much for proff. taste. Coming up is exciting new guest appearances and a ph.d. about yours truly. Hopefully the podcast feature will also be available soon - as the newsletter. Tonight I'm Cutting Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/09/tonight-im-cutting.mp3) Bigger, better, faster, more ruder, taller, prettier biggot, killer, master, whore fridge, cooler, wittier Pompous, service, galant, delight legs, lines, television fixture, mortgage, ambition, foresight anger, happier, alien There's truth in any kind of measuring of the weather Look 'round the corner there is always someone better In God you trust to be a healthy happy athlete And when you win you sign the contract for cash Hands down. Tonight I'm going through the wall Tonight I'm cutting Tonight I'm leaping for the fall Tonight I'm running So we're connecting with the game of setting standards You either win or loose – or get a slander. Who cares 'bout who's outside the walls of coloseum Compress the wound, lie down. Pretend you're home. Fall down. ExplicitWeek 26 – The Opening of the Olympic Games 2008 | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/20080808ol6.jpg) Good Evening! Did you watch the grand opening of the Olympic Games in Beijing a few days ago? Wheeeeew! What a masterpiece conglomerate of fascinating culture and cheesy artwork. And the chinese government even controlled the weather (http://www.treehugger.com/files/2008/08/beijing_controls_the_weather_for_opening_ceremony.php) - on top of everything else in China. - But I must admit, I love the exstremely tight coordinated events of the opening. The happenings with hundreds of people doing the same. Wow. This week's song is about just that. It's about being an individual in a massive crowd. Like in China I guess. The value of the individual is not of greatest importance in China - so we hear. But that's the beauty of a millitary parade isn't it? Admit it - you like it! The Last Spark Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/the-last-spark.mp3) As the head is going back, prepare for a heart attack Follow the dots as you wait for it to end Good luck and break a leg - we're about to undertake Something that someone will never forget So here I go, I'm alive and the stars are butterflies Look at me as I fly from the world I will say goodbye, but my light will never end As I am the last spark to leave the stadium So go to sleep and dream of me. I'll be home finally. Going to a place where the lights are strong I will steal my way out of here and into the atmosphere Out to the stars, where I belong So here I go, I'm alive and the stars are butterflies Look at me as I fly from the world I will say goodbye, but my light will never end As I am the last spark to leave the stadium See also: THIS POST (http://oneweeklygun.wordpress.com/2008/04/20/week-16-china-and-the-olympics/) | 11 8 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 25 – Paris Hilton in Copenhagen! | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/08/Paris-Hilton.jpg) Good Evening! The starlet of starlets, jet-setter of jet-setters, empty-well of empty-wells has set foot in my hometown Copenhagen! For once Denmark is on the global gossip map (well the map for people who cares about Paris Hilton's whereabouts that is.) This extraordinary event could not go by without being celebrated in song by One Weekly Gun! Let's all get together and join hands for the one and only Paris Hilton. The ultimate victim of evil jokes. Letterman's favourite (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=koH0sDec2-k) boxing ball. Perhaps the smartest girl of all. While we laugh at her, she laughs even harder at us. The massive interest in her well hidden personality generates itself AND a swollen bank account for Paris Hilton. Well this is old news. Instead let's join hands and choose our own Paris Hiltons from our own ugly crowd. We are grim freaks compared to Paris - living a prmitive and prehistoric lifestyle. Let's choose our own Paris Hiltons - let them be our idols. Perhaps the then old Paris Hilton will adore them too. Oh, Paris! ExplicitWeek 24 – Radovan Karadzic | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/07/karadzic-in-disguis_779631c.jpg) Dearest readers of One Weekly Gun. Yours truly have struggled himself through a wedding(my own), a vacation and my own two wedding parties for the last month! It has been an enjoyable and quite substantial mess, i should say. But who am I to complain? I'm married! So much for pathos. This week's episode features the weel known and hard-to-find war criminal Radovan Karadzic. Karadzic is a Bosnian serb, shrink and poet/author. He's mostly known for having given the order for the systematic genocide of Bosnian muslims and Croats during the 90's. For the last 13 years he has kept a very low profile, living i Belgrade under a new (stolen) identity. This song is about Radovan, and portrays him as a crooked untouchable coward in his hiding place. When he doesn't need other people he kills them - when he needs their identity, he just takes it. What a jerk. ExplicitInterlude – 12 Million Remixed | Hiya fellow One Weekly Freaks. As time is passing, OWG is feeling larger than life out here on his own private paradise island. Vacation is much needed after 23 episodes non stop. While you and I myself are waiting for OWG to get back from his much needed and long-feeling vacation, here's a convenient interlude. A remix of the song 12 Million from episode 13 (http://oneweeklygun.wordpress.com/2008/03/31/week-13-white-women-and-plastic-surgery/) . The artist behind is DJ Vonbas (http://www.myspace.com/ssser) - bassplayer in the Danish phenomenon Marie Key Band (http://www.mariekeyband.dk). Real name: Søsser. This fantastic person made an even more fantastic rendition of the song. And much needed. I felt that 12 Million was one of my favourites, but it suffered severely from lack of production time. Therefore it only had guitar and vocals. Weeks later it's in top three of most visited songs on OWG which should earn it a little more attention from the busy songwriter. Luckily Vonbas went ahead and created this neat little gem from it. Download | 3 7 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitVacation Momentum | Hi. This is one weekly gun. As you know I'm on vacation in Asia right now, and therefore unable to write, produce and publish a new song in under three hours this week. Until now it's been a very joyful experience to create this mad momentum driven soundscape. Most of all it's fantastic to receive your reactions, thoughts and feedback. It keeps me going when the going gets tough. And it does sometimes. Yeah it does sometimes. So your participation makes me fitter, happier and more productive. What would I have written about this week? Your guess is as good as mine. I can only hope it would have been something clever - and joyful to sing along to. In life that's all we can hope for most of the time. Sometimes we create our own momentum. Sometimes we drift along with the consequences of recent and past situations. It's a mess sometimes - or combination some would say . The thing is, that you by creating your own momentum on top of the ones that seem to control your life, you kind of feel that you participate. That's what I feel anyway. And sometimes people tell me, that what I do made them feel something about things that they had never felt something about before. That makes me very happy. Because in that way, I AM participating. You should also participate. Go write a song and publish it yourself. Or send it to me, at I will publish it right here. In this way I create the momentum for your momentum - which again is based on a different one. Can anything be more meta momentum like? I don't think so. Maybe you do? ExplicitWeek 23 – John Linnell | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/tmbg-color1.jpg) HI! This week is a salute to the birthday boy of them all John Linnell. John Linnell is one of my heroes. Together with John Flasnburg he forms the duo They Might Be Giants (http://www.tmbg.com). Their music is genuine nerdy pop-rock that keeps surprising me in terms of intelligence and humour. I suggest you go buy the whole back catalogue straight away or start with records like Flood (http://www.amazon.com/Flood-They-Might-Be-Giants/dp/B000002H7V), The Else (http://tmbw.net/wiki/The_Else) or the compilation Dial a Song (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dial-A-Song:_20_Years_of_They_Might_Be_Giants). One Weekly Gun owes these guys big time. This week is a tribute to John Linnell - the guys without the glasses in the picture. Dear John Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/dear-john2.mp3) Take off your hats and bow to the man, that fit the world into a can. James K. Polk's story makes you care about the world around. And such inspiring sounds makes you feel the nostalgia of you as a kid. Dear John. Did you become what you wanted? Dear John. You became what I need. In terms of vocabulary he is the best, way better than all the rest. It's hard when you try. Just sit down and cry. The thing is that you don't have a Flansburgh to pull you up again. Dear John. Did you become what you wanted? Dear John. You became what I need. Dear John. Did you become what you wanted? Dear John. ExplicitWeek 21 – The evil movie industry | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/indiana_jones_temple_of_doom.jpg) Hi All One Weekly Gun Freaks! This time it gets really punk. Today you'll have a main course consisting of a biting portrait of the entertainment industry blocking the outsight of uneducated people far from the coast. It's not fair at all, but nor is life. You could see it as analogoue to every part of the media hysteria food chain, that is experienced everywhere these days. Most of all in politics. The song is called Corporate Entertainment Throttle, and it represents I think the potentially best hit song so far. But who needs a hit song, when they can point fingers at the entertainment industry? True rhymes with puberty. Corporate Entertainment throttle Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/06/corporate-entertainment-throttle.mp3) Kill TV, the man is coming back Find your seat, and get a snack attack from the bar. ExplicitWeek 20 – John McCain | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/john_mccain.jpg) Hi! Another week went past. I chose this week's subject from a requst. I wrote about everyone else in the american primaries (except Huckabee) and until now McCain has only been mentioned in the song about Mitt Romney (http://oneweeklygun.wordpress.com/2008/02/10/week-6-mitt-romney/). Some days ago McCaine released his medical journals so that eeryone would have PROOF that this man is OK! He is not suffering from something old people suffer from. He is almost 72 but he is NOT old! These pages prove that he is not old at all. I guess... This is a very weird discussion. No matter how you look at it, he is 71 - which is kinda old in a lot of other businesses. It's past retirement age none the less. Who cares about his age as long as he does a good job. But did he get weird after spending some nights at the Hanoi Hilton? Is he in fact OK? Ode to Old Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/ode-to-old.mp3) There's a fella with a screw loose And he's heading for the White House. Someone please begin examining this man. Well, this this guy is just a geezer. Some would say our new Saint Peter. He's a good old fashioned white republican. If you still dare to doubt it. We just went and wrote about it. More than a thousand pages on his state of health. Since he put the down he rifle and began to read the Bible. Some colesterol piled up behind his belt. And he goes: Aahh.. Home is where the heart is, where the heart is I've been told. Aahh.. Write my book before I get to old. Aahh.. Home is where the heart is, where the heart is I've been told. The number of visitors quadrubled in the last couple of weeks. I started to recieve quite a few mails about One Weekly Gun. Do not be afraid to write or comment here on the page. It's really nice to have someone listening out there. Some of the questions I get are regarding the weekly day of release. Well, to tell you the truth, there is no specific day, the song should come out. It just depends on the mood I'm in and more importaintly what's going on in the world right now. But the again most of the songs come during the weekend. This week has been packed with news about the surivors of the cyclone in Burma and the earthquake in China. The horrors of the Burmese people trapped in the delta among dead bodies doesn't fail to make a lasting impression on us. And though I feel that this topic should be covered here, I could not find out how to do it. What could this blog possibly do, that could affect this situation? ...nothing I guess. And how would I be able to write a song on a subject, where pictures has allready said all there is to say? It's a dead end. My comments are useless here. I therefore broke the rule, and did what was forbidden me. I wrote a song about myself. One Weekly Gun is a vehicle for spontanious creativity. The songs come out mostly during the weekend. The song is about me, this project and the feeling of freedom in the process. It's called Weekend Man, and it qualifies for the weirdest song yet. Weekend Man Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/weekend-man.mp3) Weekend man, you dont feel bad You thought that everyone had continuity Babe I'm gonna set you up, and I'm gonna let you down When all you really wanted was a place to be I'm gonna get it one more time Weekend man, you dont feel bad | 18 5 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 18 – Clinton, Clinton, Clinton | (http://www.extrememortman.com/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/Hillary%20Clinton%20from%20all4humor.jpg) This is week 18 of One Weekly Gun I'm beginning to get at lot of reactions from all over the world. It feel nice, that someone is actually listening to this madness. In honour of my american fans, I here present yeat another song about Hillary Clinton. Go to Week 2 (http://oneweeklygun.wordpress.com/2008/01/13/week-2/) og 15 (http://oneweeklygun.wordpress.com/2008/04/16/week-15-clinton-and-obama-once-again/) for other songs about this splendid presidential candidate. This week Hillary Clinton lost her last chance of becoming the democratic candidate. The only problem is, she chose not to accept her loss (http://edition.cnn.com/2008/POLITICS/05/07/democrats.race/index.html). The song deals with her dillemma. Right now the media all over the wold begs her to step out of the race and leave the scene for Obama. I tend to agree. Please, Mrs. Clinton. It's over. Addicted to Holes Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/addicted-to-holes.mp3) It's not deviant behaviour. I'm just waiting for you to f**k up. My saviour is your failure. My hopes will make the only man stop. You'll f**k up and I will win I still got tricks up my sleeve. You can't hurt me behind my glass in the cockpit of my suicide machine. Finally I will launch to hit the ground. Step in from the cold. Noone will forget where the TV stands. It's vital in growing old. Leave my here behind the screen. I'm addicted to holes. Please excuse me, Mr. Obama. Beam me out, and leave me in my rubber cell. How could this happen to me? I can't be hurt behind my glass in the cockpit of my suicide machine. We'll be allright when the market's burning down. As long as we don't do what we're told. Please forget what the TV says. 'Cause I'm addicted to holes. | 8 5 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 17 – Amstetten | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/Austbasement1REUT_468x697.jpg) Until now, this song was the hardest one to do. Of course there could be only one headline for last week's song. The sick and gruesome events that has occured in the cellar of Joseph Fritzl for the last 24 years. It left me speechless and unable to finish this song until now. That's the reason for last week's delay. When the Lights are Coming Back Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/05/when-the-lights-are-coming-back.mp3) Drifting through the barrier Resting my hands on her Shoulders When the light is coming back. Through the tunnel With my accordion Out of tune Will the light be coming back? Love is a cancer When nobody answers and you don't love yourself Or anyone of us. Nest in our resting space Block all the exits We'll return, when the lights are coming back. | 3 5 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 16 – China and the Olympics | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/olympics-logo-bike.jpg) Hi. This is episode 16 of One Weekly Gun. It's really beginning to take form this project. 16 smashing songs are already on the page. If this is your first time here, go check out all the other posts and songs here. Don't forget to comment if you are happy, angry og something else. These last few weeks there has been a lot of discussion about China and the Olympics 2008. Therefore I thought it was time to cover the mess in music. Also check out the song about Dalai Lama a few weeks back. It became a very angry and hostile song - towards China. It's important for me to say, that I haven't got anything against the chinese people og culture. Only the governments bizzarre and childish behaviour. The song deals also with the apathic and cooperative nature of the western region. We Will Happily Sedate You Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/we-will-happily-sedate-u.mp3) We will happily sedate you. Just sit back, enjoy the scene. We'll show you, that there's nothing we can't do. We are a proud machine. Here there are noone to complain to. We don't think much of human lifes. We know we are the best – compared to the west. You don't seem to mind. We just want everyone to start to think about us as the new potential, as someone special. We hold the ancient traditions and history in our soul. That's right soul – we've got one. Excuse me Sir - my weak bladder. I think, I will have to pee your pants. Your smile won't leave, when I sneeze in your sleave. That's what I like about you. One on one we are not powerful. But our weapons are in the bank. Think of your export, before you draw your sword. Don't forget who to thank. Why the hell should I set free, the ones who criticized me. I know what's best for us in the new west. So swallow your tactics and tell me what you see. Just don't look back. The future is at our feet. | 20 4 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 15 – Clinton and Obama, once again… | (http://inorden.org/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/obama-clinton01.jpg) Hey Friends One Weekly Gun is back. For the first time - I was delayed. :-( 2 days. But I have a good reason. I got married saturday, so I had things to do. This weekend has been all about love, which also affected the weekly musical outcome. Obama and Clinton are meeting tonight - in battle. Probably the last big debate between the two. Next week, much will be clearer. The campaigns have been increasingly childish and harsh these last couple of weeks. And I began wondering about their private relationship - the correspondances, that doesn't reach the media. It's a love duet - I sing it myself. But maybe my wife will do the Clinton part someday. Feel free to demand her on to the stage. Drive Your Wagon Download I don't feel allright, I just wanna let go. Well you can't let go, cause I told you so. If it's really that bad, I don't need a reason. You go on, and I'll leave you alone. I just wanna relax and play Hits in the Car. And I nearly forgot how to hold my guitar. Honey, spare your voice, you don't know what you're saying. Keep coming back, and It'll all go away. Drive, drive your wagon, drive it slowly. It will all go away. Shut your brain and eat no bad food. It will all go away. Meet me on the other side. In the midst of things, I am thinking of you. All I know, is we are meant to be two. For a moment there, I think, I was sleeping. In the dream, I was falling for you. Go away, young man, let a woman pass through. I am nowhere near, let me hang on to your will and charms. That's all I am seeing. Kill this now, I want only the come. Drive, drive your wagon, drive it slowly. It will all go away. Shut your brain and eat no bad food. It will all go away. Meet me on the other side. | 16 4 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 14 – Charlton Heston | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/04/039_33916.jpg) Hello! Once again OWG takes on a deceased Hollywood actor. This time the song is an obituary for the late Charlton Heston. (http://ap.google.com/article/ALeqM5hIhnqF6LygGpQ54CQdntp6c74tTwD8VSG8480) The star of films like 'Planet of the Apes', 'The Ten Commandments' and '55 Days at Peking'. Also a notorious supporter of the right to own a gun. Heston had severe Alzheimer, and died at the age of 84. Charlton Heston Download Sometimes an actor seems, to go beyond the screen. Sometimes there's no barrier between him and me. And when it happens, I will close my eyes and wish that it's reality. Charlton Heston died this saturday, his spokesman said. He was 84, no comment on the cause of death. He was born in '24, one october day. He was known for his square jaw, and the roles he played. The Ten Commandments and Airport 1975. He made Ben Hur and El Cid come to life. He was elected as the president of the NRA. 'You will have to remove my gun from my cold dead hands. (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=O0B_UZNtEk4)' he used to say. Charlton Heston, you're a part of Holly-history. You represent the good old fashioned epic quality. Charlton Heston, your face should be on Mt. Rushmore. Charlton Heston – right next to Michael Moore. | 6 4 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 13 – White women and plastic surgery | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/plastic_surgery_amok.jpg) Good evening. This week the song was delayed. I'm terribly sick. But I managed to record this little song about plastic surgery in the US. Last year the number of operations performed rose to 12 million (http://www.webmd.com/skin-beauty/news/20080326/more-going-under-the-knife-to-look-sharp). Most of them are white women. I think it's sad that so many people feel they should change their looks. And I'm convinced, that most of them have problems they could solve with therapy or other treatments. Get the trauma out before you get the chemicals in. The song is up, I'll go back to bed. 12 Million Download I'm a girl with a problem. Nobody sees me anymore. My body needs an upgrade. Get me what I am looking for. Hold your breath, or I'll appeal you to death When I'm one of the 12 million. Attract and attack, give no time to react. When i'm one of the 12 million. Give me boobs and that botox. It's there to satisfy my needs. It's a cosmetic gold rush. On beauty I will overfeed. Sight, I'm gone. You won't leave me undone. When I'm one of the 12 million. ExplicitWeek 12 – Paul McCartney, Heather Mills – and a little Ashley Dupree | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/mills_mccartney_narrowweb__300x372,0.jpg) Hi All It's time for my most unreasonable song so far. I would like to apologize in advance. Well, nobody could escape hearing about the fall-out of the Macca/Mills lawsuit (http://edition.cnn.com/2008/SHOWBIZ/03/17/mccartney.mills/index.html). After all, most of us really don't care what the outcome is, as we won't get a piece of the cake. So why write a song about it? Is it not going against the values of One Weekly Gun to write songs about non-important topics? Yeah, but sometimes reality is an obvious joke, and you don't wanna miss it. The song is called 'Prenuptial Agreement' - something Paul should know about by now. Prenuptial Agreement Download So this is it. My buck for the bang, was collected by my dollar colored fang. By the time we got married, the deal was set, but the meter started running from the day we met. At first you thought, you were safe and sound, no Michael Jacksons and only vegans around. You wrote the songs, but I will sing. My first stop now will be Burger King. Prenup, prenup prenuptial agreement. Prenup, prenup prenuptial agreement. £700 an hour (http://www.dailymail.co.uk/pages/live/articles/showbiz/showbiznews.html?in_article_id=535668&in_page_id=1773&ct=5), is half of what I said. ...but then again, I only got one leg. After all it's less than Ashley Dupree. She kicks me in senoirity. With the money, I will limp all the way to the bank. My conscience is clean – and built like a tank My advice to Paul is 'go f**k yourself'. Then you won't have to pay someone else. Prenup, prenup prenuptial agreement. ExplicitWeek 11 – Dalai Lama on Tibet | (http://www.dalailama.com/uploads/gallery/israel/p_1small.jpg) Week 11. Nuns and monks are protesting in Tibet (http://edition.cnn.com/2008/WORLD/asiapcf/03/14/tibet.timeline/index.html#cnnSTCText) right now. Dalai Lama posted a press release (http://www.tibet.net/en/prelease/2008/140308.html) two days ago about the situation. This song is about Dalai Lamas message. It's my most sensitive song so far. Open up Your Eyes Download [audio :http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/open-up-your-eyes.mp3] I am deeply concerned over this situation. Let me urge all my friends to welcome stability. When it comes, open your eyes. There's a meaning with everything we do. ExplicitWeek 10 – Yessir, Bush can Boogie | [youtube:http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=knhErtMjC8k] HELLO! This is One Weekly Gun - again. Who would have thought I would make number ten? It's an anniversary. And it was bound to happen. A song about George Bush. The master of dumb news. This week we saw him tap dance, and be as happy as ever. Only to veto a bill barring CIA from using special methods of torture (or very rough means of interrogation). a few days later. I'm usually not showing off my stands on issues in my songs, but this one will make an exeption. I think Bush is an idiot - but really who doesn't? Yessir, I Can Boogie Download I'm a good old-fashioned asshole from the northern hemisphere I work hard to bother everyone, but still a handful cheer. When it comes to ending torture at my dear Guantanamo, I'll respect your vague opinions, but my answer will be NO! I was voted the best candidate with whom to share a beer, and then Michael Moore and Europea started spreading fear. I'm really just a social boy from redneck bourgeoisis. I have learned you can't please everyone - I'll just please me. And Sir, I can boogie Yessir, I can boogie Yessir, I can boogie Yeah, yeah, yeah. I don't care what you do, as long as they are kept passive. That we shouldn't do what's necessary would be quite naive. It's a long way to Cuba from the porch of my ranch. Beyond my horizon, you can have a carte blanche. And Sir, I can boogie Yessir, I can boogie Yessir, I can boogie Yeah, yeah, yeah. | 9 3 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 9 – Middle East | (http://i2-images.tv2.dk/s/11/570511-891169218db016909c8a378d334097e7.jpeg) Hey One Weekly Gun Freaks! This week's song is about Iran's project of enriching uranium. It's rather abstract and weird. It's the story of a fugitive being pulled over by allied troops, when suddenly some plant explodes. I'm from Denmark, where we are scared to death of nuclear reactors. And with good reason. They're scary in many ways. There's a Glow Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/03/theres-a-glow1.mp3) So you ran to Iran from Afghanistan and got caught up in the middle. When they ask, you tell them, you are not a soldier You are just carrying the weapons you got a hold of. Think again. Honest men don't get pulled over and searched, just because they aren't shaved. You gotta point out all the friends you have been seeing. You dig a hole for a whole human being. And suddenly the odd thing happens. All the buildings have survived, and the outside is inside. There's a glow I can smell my hair and nails, and my colour has changed. There's a glow ”On the course Get it fixed. If you catch my drift, you can look right through them” ”We're making electricity, not warfare. It's only for ourselves, no selling it to anyone.” And when you turn, you see the the thing coming. All the buildings have survived, and the outside is inside. There's a glow It's my door and it's my key I'm no longer being me. There's a glow | 28 2 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 8 – Fidel Castro resigns | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/Fidel_Castro.gif) Good Evening. This is episode 8 of One Weekly Gun. This weeks headline is a request - and indeed the most dominating one this week. Fidel Castro, the world's friendliest dictator has resigned. I guess I can't tell anyone anything they didn't already know about Castro. It not the biggest of tragedies, that he's no longer the president of Cuba, but indeed it's the end of an era. I chose a rather manipultative angle to this week's song. The words are Castro's. An aged, paranoid and tired man. It deals with the usual melancholy of getting old and isolated in a cynic world. I added a little positive gesture - indicating that Castro has a great plan for mankind, and nobody listens. I guess he has, but how good it is, can be discussed. By others! ...Feel free to comment. Special thanks once again goes to Captain Woman who had me sing almost in pitch and provided the backing vocals. This is also the longest song so far, and it even contains a clever and subtle reference to Kylie Minogue. Through Me Download Do you find it funny when I fall from my chair? Do you think that it's relieving, when I'm not there? Do you dream about the things, I never would do? Do you feel that it's a burden, when I'm with you? It's in your eyes I know what you're thinking. The hurt in me will flow through me and out through you. It will flow through me and out through you. It will flow through me and out through you. You already know what I'm about to do? Are you part of the process, I'm going through? Do you think it's possible, you don't understand? There's a world with a movement beyond my hand. It's in the plan. I know where I'm going. The way I choose will go through me and out through you. It will go through me and out through you. It will go through me and out through you. | 20 2 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 7 – Hollywood back from the strike | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/Keanu_Reeves46.jpg) HI! This is One Weekly Gun - part 7. Quite a lot of interesting things happened this week, and the choice has been difficult. The forthcoming independence of the Kosovo region was a tempting subject, but the strike of the Writers Guild (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2007_Writers_Guild_of_America_strike) had a more ironic edge to it. After all it's funny to think about a whole industry fading to black, when somebody stops telling the stars, what to say. The song is called Hooray for Hollywood, and was written by me, The Gun, and my friend Christian the high school teacher in subjects Danish Litterature and Music. Hooray for Hollywood Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/hooray-for-hollywood.mp3) Hooray for Hollywood The writers are back. In time to save your screen. The Oscar's haven't been. Please write a new economy. 'Asta la vista, Baby'. What do they have writers for? They don't use those anymore. Think about Titanic and Keanu Reeves Thank God, the writers are back. The mouth is getting dry. Keanu starts to cry and finally we feel kinda secure. So much crisis we endure. Without writers sometimes we get scared by reality. Stars could go where no one else but Ronald R. and Arnie went, Holly-government. Hooray, the writers are back. In time to save your screen. The Oscar's haven't been ... yet So long, thanks for finishing my song. | 16 2 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 6 – Mitt Romney | (http://www.ibabuzz.com/politics/wp-content/uploads/2007/04/romney.jpg) Hi and welcome to Episode Six of One Weekly Gun. This week I almost didn't make it. I had prepared a hymn about Super Tuesday. A song with a verse for each candidate. I got rather academic and in the end I wrote another one right after Mitt Romney announced, that he would withdraw his candidature. I feel sorry for every candidate that is run over in the race for power. I'm sure most of them has the best of intentions. In the case of Romney it's quite hard to see through his motives. He changed his mind quite a few times along the way. Especially on the issue of abortion (http://www.boston.com/news/local/articles/2005/07/03/clarity_sought_on_romneys_abortion_stance/). This song is really unfair to Romney. I apologise in advance. It's Romney in his home with his mother after his announcement (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r3emWQb3Hqs). Mitt Romney Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/mitt-romney.mp3) Mother will they think that I'm a loser? Do you think they will talk about me when I leave? Mother should i be a substance abuser? Will it give me enough media coverage? Hope to get a poodle spanking in McCains governtment. So I'll keep my Google ranking, though I won't be president. They all said, 'cause I'm a mormon it would stick like a curse And my lack of winner-hormone made it worse. On the screen is a picture of Obama with his hands in the air and a smile on his face. I lay low with an ice cream and pajama and the tabernacle hymn sounding from the highest place. I think, I was the right winner, I'm a true conservative. Though I'm sometimes quite a sinner, a democrat preservative. And my views on abortion could have been a bit more true. Heck I lost, but I've got mo' money than you. DIGG this please! ExplicitWeek 5 – Gaza without Lights | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/image3760756.jpg) HI - and welcome to episode 5 of One Weekly Gun 2008. This week is about the inevitable Middel East. Israel decided to shut down electricity in Gaza and last week it culminated in people crossing the border (http://news.yahoo.com/s/ap/20080128/ap_on_re_mi_ea/gaza_quick_fix;_ylt=Ag9En.gB.jeTj6WmOAHNoSqs0NUE) to Egypt to buy fuel, food and necessities. Several egyptian shops have made a small fortune from the border breach. The song is mostly an expression of the dispair in the heads of people in Gaza. I travelled there once. Made some friends and had a terrific time. Now it's a hole in the ground. I'm proud to introduce my first guest star: Captain Woman on vocals! We've got ours Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/02/weve-got-ours.mp3) We've got ours That's where it hurts the most We've got ours to take care of That's where it hurts the most When we're alone without any lights and friends we start to pretend, that someone is wathing over us and our friends We are eager to get a job In the morning we'll get up Drink the coffee we can't afford and breach the border that was drawn by our friends We've got ours That's where it hurts the most We've got ours to take care of That's where it hurts the most | 1 2 08 | Free | View In iTunes |

ExplicitWeek 4 – Heath Ledger | (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/35a5f9e46e164453a8289bf99eeefa95_hl1.jpg) I really had no choice this week. The one big headline is the death of actor Heath Ledger and all the questions surrounding the incident. I often wonder about the mechanisms that make us all feel bad when a known figure passes away. It's strange bonding with people, you haven't even met. And I must admit, I only saw Ledger in 'Monster's Ball'. I just learned his name this week. Heath Ledger Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/heath-ledger.mp3) Is something the wrong, Mr Ledger? Do you need anything, Mr. Ledger? If you want anything more, you should come unlock the door. Are you in there at all, Mr Ledger? There are pills in your hand Mr. Ledger. I really don't understand, Mr. Ledger. If you don't wanna get up, I think I will loose my job. I don't know what to do, Mr Ledger. Now where did it go wrong, Mr Ledger? Is this Hollywood's fault, did they get'ya? Is it you or is it me, a new business casualty? What will the world do without you, Mr. Ledger? And now it feels empty here without you, Ledger. We feel we know you, but haven't even met'ya. I didn't watch your films. I really cannot tell, why I miss you like hell, Heath Ledger. Mr. Ledger This isn't right! This isn't right! This isn't right at all! This is a growing concern, another call. This is a mandate for change, a glowing ball. Digg this! ExplicitWeek 3 | Pheew, this turns out to be more stressful than I planned. This weeks episode features the problems of garbage removal in Naples, Italy. Apparently the local gangs are controlling and prolonging the conflict for financial reasons. Who would have thought, that garbage can turn to gold? More (http://www.reuters.com/article/worldNews/idUSL0830577220080109) People have asked me if the One Weekly Gun episodes comes out on a regular day of the week. My answer: ‘No’. Now it’s a view that kills The ocean and the hills are covered with one million peoples’ nigthly spills. ExplicitWeek 2 – Clinton and Obama | (http://www.theonion.com/content/files/images/Hilary-Clinton.jpg) Another EXCITING week went by. One story seemed to domintate the headlines.: The unexpected victory of Hillary Clinton in New Hampshire. We all thought Obama would prevail, but at the last minute Clinton played the winning card: Tears. Maybe the effect wasn't caused by a candidate showing emotions. Maybe it was because she gave the world, what the world expected: That she's a woman, and therefore should show her feelings all the time. There's no room for an Iron Lady. There's a new boy in Class/Cry Lady Cry Download (http://www.oneweeklygun.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2008/01/newboyinclasscryladecry.mp3) Well, there's a new boy in class He's gonna kick your ass Yeah, there's a new boy in class He's gonna kick your ass I don't know what to call him, he's got the color as my oven Well, there's a new boy in class He's gonna kick your ass Yeah, there's a new boy in class He's gonna kick your ass He's from a abroad, from a different culture, on his shoulder sits an african vulture I'm afraid... And so it seems the game was won, And all the little boys and girls went back to their homes. But from behind came a girl with tears in her eyes. So cry lady cry, don't be afraid to sob. Cry lady cry, if you want the job. Cry lady cry, if you wanna get laid. Cry lady cry, if you wanna get paid. Cry lady cry, we don't care how it seems.
