beautiful amateur solo jazz piano
I've been listening to this guy for the last few years on his free podcast. He's a solo jazz pianist, obviously heavily influenced by Bill Evans. Great touch, nice style, phrasing, and chord construction. I saw today in the notes to one of his podcast tunes that he had recorded some songs downloadable through iTunes. He's just the kind of amateur (though excellent) pianist I want to support. If you like solo jazz in the vein of Oscar Peterson, Bill Evans, George Shearing, etc. (mainstream jazz solo piano), be sure to check this guy out. Thank you, Changee Watanabe, whoever you are, and wherever you are!
