The Pepper Pots are a soul revivalist act from Girona, Catalonia, consisting of a trio of female vocalists in the mold of the Supremes, backed by a seven-piece combo. Train to Your Lover is their fourth release, a strictly '60s soul-pop affair that finds the Pepper Pots perfecting their craft and doing away with the ska/rocksteady elements of their beginnings. An eminently enjoyable album, this collection of all originals sung in English was mastered by Motown veteran Bob Ohlsson.

Influenced by the musical trends of the 1960s, the Pepper Pots are a Spanish pop group modeled after the Ronettes, the Crystals, and other vintage pop acts. The large lineup includes three female vocalists — Adriana Prunell, Mercè Munné, and Marina Torres, all of whom share lead vocals — as well as a backup band of male musicians.
