FlashCards is designed to make it easy for you to create your own flashcards on the iPhone. It is simple to generate sets of your own flashcards. Put whatever you want on a card: text, pictures, or even audio. Create as many sets as you want with as many cards as you want.
Create the text for cards online at http://flashcards.red5dev.com! Import Excel, CSV, and OpenOffice spreadsheet documents and instantly create hundreds of flashcards! Just create a cardset to place all your cards into, and then click import!
Back up all your data locally. The application now supports making a complete back up to your computer, and then restoring from that backup. Move all your information between devices, or just make sure you have a back up of all your flashcard data!
Easily create flashcards on your iPhone or iPod Touch to carry with you anywhere you go. Studying has never been easier!
Each card can have text, images, audio, or any combination of the three on the front or on the back. Create cards with images of paintings and their artists, or classical compositions and their composers. Change the font size, font color, and background color of your cards. Create your cards how you want to create them. The possibilities are endless.
Create a group for your cards, and then create as many cards as you want. The cards can appear in random order or sequentially, whichever you decide. While you’re running through, if you notice a flashcard that you’ve got down, just mark it to skip and it won't appear until you choose to include it again. Right before your test the touch of one button will reset all the flashcards so you can run through them again. It’s that simple.
Quickly find your cards! If you need to make a modification to a card, don't browse through hundreds of cards, just start typing and find your card quickly, make the changes and get back to studying!
Add topics to your groups and then put your cards into multiple topics. Turn an entire topic on or off, or study one at a time. All the time the application tracks how many times you get a card right or wrong, then decide to skip it or turn SmartStudy mode on and let the application handle how often to show your cards.
SmartStudy uses a variation of a Leitner Box system, which is scientifically proven to increase the effectiveness of flash cards.
You decide what goes on your flashcard. You decide to go through them randomly or sequentially. You learn the material. You ace the test.
Supports special characters! To write a character with an accent, hold down the base key for a second, and the variants will be available to choose from!

This application will work on all iPhone and iPod Touch hardware, and it does not require an internet connection to operate. An internet connection is required to import flash cards from http://flashcards.red5dev.com, but no other feature requires a connection to the internet.
