Biografía

Spanish hardcore/punk foursome Reincidentes started playing in the mid-'80s under the name of Incidente Local, with Juan Barea on bass, Manuel Pizarro on drums, and Fernando Medina on guitar and vocals. The band made its live debut at Sevilla's University in 1987. Two years later, they became one of the finalists at a local rock contest. Around that time, sax player José Luis Nieto joined in. In 1989, the group's self-titled album was released by Discos Trilita, obtaining a huge success in the Basque country. That record was followed by 1991's Ni Un Paso Atras and 1992's ¿Dónde Esta Judas?, both released by Discos Suicidas. After participating in the Expo Sevilla, Reincidentes started touring Central America. When the band returned to Spain, Finito de Badajoz became the new guitarist, soon recording Sol y Rabia. In 1997, the rock act signed up to BMG, getting its first gold record in 1998, after issuing a double album called Algazara.
