Album Review
One of the leaders in the trance scene, Armin van Buuren released this, the 2010 edition of his series highlighting some of the best house, club, and trance tracks out there, in April of that year. Featuring a number of well-established artists remixed with van Buuren's own sense of flair — such as Faithless, Beat Service, and the Thrillseekers — this two-disc, 31-track collection will be a welcome addition to any fan's personal collection, as well as a solid introduction to van Buuren's singular interpretive mixing style. Included in the digital download version are two long-form mixes of all the tracks on each "disc," blended together by Armin himself.

A progressive trance DJ and producer whose cinematic sound is influenced by synth pioneers like Klaus Schulze and Jean-Michel Jarre, Armin van Buuren enjoys worldwide recognition and a frantic schedule that takes him all over the globe. Born on December 25, 1976, in Leiden, Holland, Armin became interested in music at an early age (his father was an avid record buyer). A close friend introduced him to the world of dance music, and the Dutch DJ and remixer Ben Liebrand quickly became his main inspiration....
