Description
This is the predecessor to Geo Synthesizer. Which is a paid app with many more features. Mugician is for practice now. :-)
A microtonal capable distortion synthesizer with an 11-string bass guitar layout with extremely low latency. Many, many thanks to Jordan Rudess (Morphwiz' creator!) for many of his ideas that are in its design.
Mugician appears on Underoath's latest album 'Disambiguation', and also on Gorillaz latest album "The Fall" (which was mostly created on iPad), and the Jordan Rudess with Project RnL collaboration. Contact me if you use this on stage.
Send me your youtube video links, and I will post them on Facebook and twitter!
I also have lots of users that have been playing Mugician daily for a half year, and this exact version for 3 months. The only thing that has changed recently is the iPad operating system itself.
I recommend iTablaPro for background accompaniment, as that app can run in the background, interacts well with Mugician, and is a really good fit for Mugician's sound.

Nouveautés de la version 1.7.5
Follow the app support links to read the manual before you download this. Mugician is an open source project hosted on github now.
You may want to use a guitar amp if you need more effects.
All known issues:
on iOS4.2, there are quite a few music apps that completely lose sound when waking from sleep on rare occasions - and this has nothing to do with the mute switch. in the rare event that this happens, you need to double-tap home from the home screen and hold down the icon until the minus sign shows so you can tap it to force the app to re-start.
Also note that iOS4.2's multi-tasking has costs. Apps in the background consume memory. Shut down unnecessary apps before you begin performances.
I have been informed that there are subtle speed differences in Mugician based on orientation, and that having the home button "on the right" is the fastest orientation. ;-)
if you are an ipad developer, the open source version us hosted at http://github.com/rfielding/Mugician , and that build has tackled the occasional sound skip problem, and fixed hammer-off latency so that you can really play a lot faster when in noteperstring or singlenote mode by holding down lots of fingers trilling up and down. There will be a new official version the moment I figure out the rare sound loss on wake from sleep problem.
if you can play amazingly well, put it on youtube already!
