This album is superb! Get it, I guarantee you wont be disappointed. Keep Me In Mind has one of the best heavy souls riffs you'll hear. Best purchase in a long time.

Bamboo's Got It Wrong This Is Not 4, but 5 Stars All To The Funky Way

I just had to write this review after I saw a 1 star review on here. To not love it is one thing, I understand everybody has different music tastes but to say this album is only worthy of 1 star! Well thats just plain crazy talk and the and person who wrote that review must either be hard of hearing, on crack, or one step away from being taken away to the loony bin. By any self respecting music lovers standards this is an exceptional album which will make you want to get on up on the dance floor, kitchen floor bedroom floor or any other floor for that matter. I love the old school soul sound on this album and the eclectic mix of songs from the 'indian' influenced track like 'Up On The Hill' to the all out funk tracks like 'Turn It Up'. Some modern soul albums trying to recaputure that old school nostalgic soul sound can feel a bit generic with most of the tracks sounding the same. Not on this album! There's an up tempo feel that runs throughout the album and each trach is carefully crafted and delviered with great energy and real conviction. Special mention has to go out to Kylie Auldist who provides most of the vocals on this ablum and if you like '4' you might also want to check out Kylie Auldist 'Made Of Stone' album which was also produced by the Bamboos.

So to the reviewer who gave this the one star, shame on you and get those ears tested. To everyone else hopefully still reading this review '4' is one huge funk/soul infused rollercoaster ride which your not going to want to get off. So What are you waiting for, go get it and 'Turn It Up'!
