The genesis for this group was MC Megaman and MC Romeo, both of whom were promoting various British garage club shows as well as other parties. The parties, named So Solid as part of the promotions, grew in popularity. In 1998, while meeting at the Killer Watt Carnival Soundsystem, the group was created.
