6 Foot 7 Foot

This song is a personal favourite of mine, I love how Lil Wayne has these lyrics that makes your jaw drop and I love the background tune. Although the beat doesn't quite match up to A Milli, and that's because A Milli's was so simple & alternate between bass and snare, whilst this has more bass, changes the amount then the snare - but perfectly fine though. I'd have to say the best part of this song has to go to Corey Gunz.. Newly signed to Young Money he's come out with a bang on Lil Wayne's song with fast lyrics, although he lacks a fair amount of content, his speed more than adds up for it. It's a great combination.

Now to answer the question everyone's been asking, "Is it better than A Milli" and my answer would be "in some ways". A Milli was such a hit for it's start to finish rapping from Lil Wayne over the same words and alternating beat. This came across as something magnificent for the audience, but now, it's something people are used to, so 6 Foot 7 Foot doesn't come with as much 'wow factor'. 6 Foot 7 Foot is very lyrically thought out though, something A Milli wasn't. Despite the line "tougher than Nigerian hair" 6 Foot 7 Foot has those kind of lyrics start to finish. I think was lets this song down is that Lil Wayne was sober whilst recoding this, that's why he doesn't sound as 'croaky' and infact sounds somewhat funny. I thought that A Milli's video was amazing, that's one of the key reasons why I liked that song, so I guess we'll see how this song's video matches up, and it'll play a key part in it's comparison to A Milli.

Overall, it's an amazing song, blew my mind away when i first heard it, from both artists. I recommend to all Lil Wayne fans, but also to people who might not be, because this song shows the intellegance that everyone says Lil Wayne has, and if people are in for just the flow of rhyme, Corey Gunz more than satisfies.
