A sweeping orchestral, if not slightly dark look at christmas.
Alan Silvestri delivers a sweeping, festive score full of triumphant orchestral flavour and some haunting darker moments. At times it is remeniscent of the Harry Potter scores, with slightly spooky, quirky themes filled with adventure and heart. He really is a visionary composer, his work ranges from adventure (Back To The Future)to Action (Predator), comedy (Overboard, Death Becomes Her) and Disney animation (Lilo And Stitch, Who Framed Roger Rabit) and with this score for "Disney's A Christmas Carol", He has created an exciting soundtrack that really delivers a holiday/christmassy feel.
