Hullabaloo

A City On Fire gets your undivided attention from the beginning, with a extremely catchy riff that follows threw the hole song. "In contrast", 'Vincent' is a dreamers song. It has soft lyrics which seem to dance along with the plucking's of the acuostic guitar. This is a great little EP and would sit very comfortably in any fan's collection. 10/10, do not hesitate in buying this EP.

Great Album

Despite it only being an EP, its a great buy. I would recommend it to any Fightstar fan. 'Vincent' conveys a calm and simple rhythm, with spectacular lyrics, made up by a quiet guitar riff and Charlie's voice. However, 'A City on Fire, will remind any previous listener of Fightstar's old genre, minus the screaming. This song resembles a slant towards indie rock and in my view amaze all listeners. 5/5, and for £1.29, i recommend it :D (Y)

Great EP!

Fightstar have done it again! This is a great EP! A city on fire has one of the most infectious guitar riff in ages, with the lyrics pertaining to London as a 'city on fire'. It comes with a fantastic acoustic cover of Don McLean's 'Vincent', Charlie's voice suits the haunting lyrics so well! I confess myself a fan of the original, but this cover is truly, truly beautiful! The fab video is a welcome bonus and all for a bargain price! in short:"Is this all that you want?......YEAH!!!!" :)

Itching to tap more fully into his rock side, a random jam at a party soon turned into Simpson writing and playing songs on the side with guitarist Al Westaway and drummer Omar Abdid. Realizing they needed a bass player to enter the studio, a schoolmate of Westaway's, Dan Haigh, soon joined Fightstar's ranks. Rehearsing and playing...
