Album of the year!

This third album is amazing. A bit of a change but give it a few listens!
Highlights are 'My Friends' with the José Gonzales guitar, 'The Beast' with it's growth like the beast clawing its way to the surface! 'Salinas' is just wonderful. All the songs are good. SO HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Beautiful recording

Standout tracks are Sophia and My Friends but to be honest I don't think there is one track that I don't enjoy. The maturity of the voice from someone so young is astounding. There is a little bit of Joni Mitchell in the voice as an influence but not so much as to find it distracting in any way. My own taste is mostly alternative/electronica but some times the quality with an other genre just shines through and this is the case with Laura Marling, a beautiful young woman with a stunning vocal and also a fairly nifty guitarist.

AMAZING!!!

Best songs at first listen are sophia, flicker and fail, all my rage and don't ask why. Although they are all very very very very very good. loved the first 2 albums and this one is different but still better then the prievious albums.
