'Tis the season to be lonely

The Fratellis said that their song is one of the most depressing Christmas songs you have ever heard and I have to say I agree with them. Doesn't mean it's not good though, the lyrics are good for a depressing Christmas song. Lazybones is an intresting Acoustic song, with more of those witty lyrics. They have released this single oddly, with only 1000 CD versions and even less of the vinyls. This download also doesn't contain the single, which may also affect it sales. Still worth downloading these two songs if you don't have A Heady Tale.

Great!

A Heady Tale is definitely one of the best songs from The Fratellis latest album Here We Stand. It's upbeat, fantastic and definitely worth listening. Lazybones is a very laidback acoustic song and is very catchy, as is Lonesome Anti-Christmas Blues. It's a great Christmas tune but it has very depressing lyrics. "Why does everybody got someone but me on this Christmas day?" Mon the Fratellis!

Lazybones

Get the lazybones song - it's a great aucistic track with lyrics of pure gold.

Biography

Formed: 2005 in Glasgow, Scotland

Genre: Rock

Years Active: '00s

A brashly melodic indie rock outfit from Glasgow, the Fratellis feature vocalist/guitarist Jon Fratelli, drummer Mince Fratelli, and bassist Barry Fratelli. The witty trio played its first show in early 2005, maintaining that the band's moniker was merely an homage to Barry's original surname (however, other rumors suggest that the Fratellis borrowed it from the nemesis family featured in Steven Spielberg's film The Goonies). Such trivia only added to the Fratellis' growing appeal upon their performance...
