Lady Fantasy
Lady Fantasy - Superb track. Not heard it for 20 + years, still awesome!
Probably the greatest music ever written.
In my humble opinion The Snow Goose is the finest piece of music ever written. The live version is even more sublime than the studio version. Buy this album if you have any real appreciation of music! Ok I may be stuck in the 70s but don't take my word for it, listen to it with the lights low and a glass in your hand. Just let the music take you,
Best Band Ever
First of all - I'm not a man stuck in the 70's - let's be clear about that, I have a long list of current bands and musicians I like.
I just love music, played well.
Proper music from proper musicians, not something concocted by idiotic talent shows or button pushing electronics.
Camel has it all. This album is just an example of how good they were in the 70's and as far as I know, they're still around.
If you want to be more amazed try the live album Coming Of Age from 1998 or any of the studio albums especially Moonmadness ; Rain Dances ; Rajazz or A Nod and a Wink, to name but a few. Every album has it's gems!
Superb musicianship and melodic songwriting and you'll not find a better guitarist than Andy Latimer either.
They don't make bands of this calibre anymore.
Shame.
