ooo-arrr this be fantastic

Have to say, what a fantastic album. The Wurzels never fail to bring a smile to anyones face, from Combine Harvester to their excellent cover of Don't Look Back in Anger, they never fail to dissapoint, and this album doesn't fail to disappointment, the highlight of the album has to be the lead single, Ruby- a cover of the Kaiser Chiefs song. The albums full of oo-arrrs and their trademark accent. Oooo-arrrr faaaaantastic!

a load more bullocks

fantastic album .. real singalong fun

OOh Arrgh it's Wurzeltastic!

I've always liked the Wurzels. Their first covers album was ok but this one is in another league. The production values and session musicians used and excellent and simply take the songs to a new level. I love their version of "Ruby" and "Go West" gets a whole new meaning when sung by the lads from the West Country.
Rolf probably started the craze of 'amusing cover versions', carried on superbly by Hayseed Dixie. However this album is perhaps the best.
Buy it.
Sing along.
Play it to your friends.
