Hed. Kandi winter 2012
One of the best HK albums out great value for money starts off a bit disco with some casual house in the middle then ends on a Ibiza theme great for working out too or just blasting in the car dreaming of the summer ahead !
step in the right direction, but better out at the moment.
It's ok, I was really hyped up, and the weekender vocal of walk away is very nice, even owning the other mixes of the song. looking at the song titles, you'd really think this would be good (another remix of intoxicated, which was great in the mix 2009, another bel amour re-release, which I'd love). But for some reason this one hasn't stuck with me. bought it at the same time as azuli global (different sound I know) and deeply fierce (very similar, if not the same sound as it is mark doyle and all), and I must say Deeply fierce just seems to have it covered in terms of funky, soulful house, but this one is good for slightly more down tempo house.
maybe it'll grow on me? seemed very nice and glad to know that there is still a winter mix (as well as the return of winter chill!)
Good intro to Dance 2012
Taste of Winter is a good intro to the delights that will probably fill the Dancefloor this year.. My particular favourite been 'Generation 24/7' which is a good workout at the gym track!!! Here's hoping to more good releases from Hed Kandi this year...
