The Alter Bridge Experience
It's 2004 and I'm watching WWE. Superstar 'Edge' comes to the ring sporting a new entrance theme. "That sounds awesome" I say and a Google search begins. It transpires that the track is called "Metalingus" by a band called "Alter Bridge". The song features on an album called "One Day Remains". A visit to play.com and a tenner later, the album is purchased.... This was the start of by Alter Bridge journey and one that I am so grateful to have discovered. After two unbelievable albums and 5 visits to see the guys live, the anticipation of 'AB III' has been almost unbearable but here it is, arrived at last. As the album begins I'm slightly bemused. "Slip To The Void" begins slowly, the sweet tone of Myles Kennedy flowing over that track.. and then it kicks in. It's a superb start to a fantastic roller-coaster of an album. It's time for me to play this bad boy to death in readyness of live visit 6 in Bristol this month!
ABIII Is Amazing!
Alter Bridge are so underrated!

This is Alter Bridge's third incredible album. Like many of the reviewers on here, it was Metallingus that got me loving this band. Everysong they have done have been done with passion and to the highest standards that the band can do, and this album is no different. From the opener Slip Into The Void, you can tell that this is going to be slightly heavier than what they have done. Standout tracks are Isolation, Slip Into The Void, Words Are Darker Than Their Wings, Fallout, Wonderful Life and All Hope Is Gone. Lyrically the album is amazing and Myles unique vocals, accompanied by the great riffs make this album what it is....A MASTERPIECE!
