Unstoppable
Yet another flawless release from The Maccabees here. Personally, I didn't see it as an obvious single choice, and it's taken me a while to get into it. But, after a few listens, it's clear that this rivals any of their previous tracks, clattering along on a boundless wave of jolly art-pop. With Orlandos trademark yelp set against Felix's guitar pulling shapes as angular as a set square one minute and chiming beautifully the next, coupled with their biggest hook since "Latchmere's got a wave machine", About Your Dress is an ecstatic ode to love, loss and everything else. Oh, and any song with a video that heavily features glove puppets is okay with me.

Really strong song. I love the little fiddly guitar and the breakdowns. Great video too.
