If you only have one Gaelic rock band in your collection this should be it.
The feeling of the Highalnds!
Runrig have managed to express the feelings of lost generations when the Highlands were decimated by the "Clearances"& the lost generations of the World Wars when so many went to foreign fields and laid down their lives. Deeply felt in a land where everyone is a neighbour and communities still exist. The melodies and the rock combine to give a great modern feeling to the sometimes sad but proud & wonderful history of a people fast disappearing. This is music for the archives.
