Jangly guitar heaven
Ahhh, the sound of reverb heavy, Beach Boys inspired, jingly-jangly guitar. Shame it didn't appear in time for summer. There are some heart-breaking lyrics from Christopher Owens, who has an interesting past, combined with his ability to construct great melodies. Listen to this album.
Wonderful
This is indie pop heaven. Touches of the Velvets, Beach Boys, Beatles, Edwyn Collins, Ramones, Teenage Fanclub, all wrapped up in a huge jangly exhillarating Phil Spector wall of sound production. Treat yerself.
